Fell apart easily

I bought two of these in 2021 and while I can still use them, they are such a pain in the neck. Both began to fall apart within 6 months of purchase. I tried using them outdoors based on the product description, but they easily tipped over from mild wind and then the metal tubes fell out of the plastic. I thought no problem, I'll just push them back in, but it happens so frequently that it's annoying. One of the racks fell apart so badly I lost small parts and had to Frankenstein it back together. I recently bought a Songmics laundry rack which seems much sturdier. Fingers crossed it holds up better than these.

good laundry drying rack with a caveat

this is a pretty good laundry drying rack. the rack is put together well- it's sturdy, light, strong. it's made of metal, but it doesn't have any seams that could catch cloth and rip or stretch it. i like that it's modular as the two wings on top and be extended separately and at different levels. it's has a well designed shelf area near the base that's good to lay things out. it has plenty of cross rods- 26 to be exact- that you can use to hang lots of clothes on. it also has a small plastic rectangular bucket that would be able to hold smaller items. my only issue is that it's not wide enough that you could hang shirts over those rods. for me this is a big deal as i wear a lot of tee shirts and if the rack was a little wider it would be nearly perfect. as it is, however i can't really dry that many shirts on it as i have to lay them out across the wings and the shelf area near the base. as a comparison i have the amazon basics plastic/nylon rack and although it's much more simply constructed it's wide enough to dry 8 shirts on at one time while i might be able to fit 4 tee shirts on this rack. it's really a shame because in every other way it is a superior rack. as it is it's great for socks, underwear, towels, etc. but bigger pieces of clothing like pants and shirts it doesn't make the grade.

Plastic basket broken on arrival and doesn't fit the design!

The overall product is decent enough, however, on arrival the basket doesn't fit and it is broken. We find it a hassle to pack up the whole product, return & find another replacement. There is no place to simple ask for a replacement basket - one not broken & one that fits or a refund of sorts!

Incredible Value

I bought this to replace a broken wood clothes rack. I've always had wood and was a bit leery about buying metal. But I'm sold on it now. Low center-of-gravity makes this rack super stable. The angle of the wings' are very adjustable up and down. I've included a picture of one full load of laundry on it and there is still room for more. I love the lower rack for socks and other small items. The little basket is handy for drying gloves, masks and doll clothes. The fold-out extender on the ends of the main racks hold blouses on hangers. This picture shows two hanging blouses, four pants, three long johns, two tee shirts, three hand towels, and eight socks. My laundry basket fits neatly beneath it as does the cat. His new favourite place to hang out. Note: This comes with no instructions on how to fold it out and get the arms to stay up. Be patient with yourself. First open the rack and gently push down on the two long white plastic pieces. This will lock the A-frame of the main section into place. Now the tricky part. On the sides of the A-frame there are two metal fold up pieces. Don't get confused thinking I mean the wavy pieces that you put hangers on. Not those...the other ones. Lift one of the 'wings' to the position you prefer and place the fold up thinner piece beneath it and it will hold up the arm. Repeat on the other side. I am thrilled with my rack and HIGHLY recommend it. Someone also posted a short video on how to set it up and I also highly recommend watching her video. It's very helpful.

This holds a ton of stuff!

I never machine dry my clothing, I think its a Brit thing. My last one finally broke & after some research, I found this rack. I love it, its very well made and thought out, just little extras I havent found on a rack before. It doesnt collapse/fall in like my last one did, & prob can hold over 20 lbs of wet items & during summer months its pulled onto the patio to air dry wet pool towels. It fold flat for storage & weighs a couple of #s but its very sturdy. Everyone should be using one to help cut down on their power bills, every bit helps. I am very happy with my purchase.
