Long term durability is "meh"

I purchased this doodad back in June, 2020 based on the price. I had lower expectations and this air dryer exceeded them (for over two years). I don't regret purchasing it as I was in a financial crunch and needed something like it fast and cheap back then. After two years and five months it broke apart after falling from a door trim lip. The plastic was cheap, but it had held up. After hundreds of times of hanging socks, underwear, and even the odd t-shirt, the plastic had become brittle. A few of the clips broke off as I was removing things. Being frugal, I used zip ties to reattach them. It wasn't the clips themselves that broke, but the flat short plastic ribbons that the clips hung on from the arms. Not until it fell to the floor a few days ago did it finally not just break, but smashed apart. The arms of it are still intact, but they snap easily. They weren't long for this world anyway. It was the rotating axis that busted apart and turned the dryer into trash. I'm disappointed, sure, but given how little I paid for it I'm not angry. I got my moneys worth of use and it tolerated a little bit of abuse over time, but the point is, you get what you pay for. If you need an air dryer like this right now, unless you're being especially rough on it, it'll get you by. Think of it as being like the ultra cheap plastic hangers you can get in discount stores. It isn't meant for really long term use.

Incomplete

The carousel have enough hangers, but my came incomplete, have not all the pins, anyway I need it so bad that I decline to return it. Good so far, excellent if bring all the clips.

Flimsy compared to similar previously purchased carousel dryer

A number of years ago I had purchased the same kind of carousel dryer; it was sturdy and made of heavy-duty plastic and I highly used it over the years. When I accidentally dropped my old one a piece broke; thus, I placed an order for this carousel dryer since design and description appeared to match my old previous carousel dryer. However, this carousel dryer is made of very flimsy plastic and even one of the clips has already broken off with minimal use and weight. I am very disappointed but will continue to use it since I am unable to find a like-one to my broken carousel dryer. I don't expect this to hold up very long. I have not used the blue one yet since I decided I best save it for when this flimsy white one continues to break. I like the design and convenience of using it in a small space but doubt I would purchase this again unless the manufacturer verifies a carousel dryer made of heavier, sturdy plastic that does not break (hanger) after only 3 uses of hanging only a few lightweight items. Definitely not the quality I was hoping for like my old one was...

Plastic can break easily.

The first one I received was broken but so far no problems with the replacement. I've been very careful when opening it and keep in a bag when not in use. Very convenient for hanging pantyhose or socks to dry.

Great for tight spaces

I line dry most of my things. Needed this for the smaller items. One clip has already come off… not bad deal for price.

Great for socks and other small items

I previously had a different brand. After many years it bit the dust and I found this. It works great I use frequently. It only got four stars because one of the clips arrived broken. Would definitely buy again.

A little disappointed

Unfortunately it is flimsy. The plastic that attaches the clips/clothespins is very thin and cracks easily. Also not an s hook design which was more flexible when opening and closing. The clips break easily as well. I was able to reattach working clips with yarn. I also was able to attach metal clothespins I had with the yarn. So far the frame is good/durable. Money was worth it for the frame if one is willing to replace the clips as they and attachments break.

Doesn't Last

My former carousel dryer lasted decades. This unit lasted 2 years, in fact the arms started breaking off at about 18 months. I use it for lingerie, sox, and the occasional handtowel, just as I had my previous one. The waste of money has about 1-1/2 arms left, and almost every time I use it another arm snaps off! Amazon: get rid of this seller, because they sell junk....

Great for drying light delicates

I like these for drying underwear, socks and delicates. It saves them from shrinking in the dryer. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the hanger is weak so you can't hang really heavy underware.

What a useful little gadget!

It seems at first to be cheap and easily broken, but I've had it for months now without a single problem. It grips firmly and dries so many socks, undies, etc. GREAT PRODUCT!

Stronger than it looks

This doesn’t seem very strong, as it’s all plastic. But it’s not flimsy at all. It holds lots of weight. I use it for drying cloth diapers with no issues.
