As someone who owns several Staub pieces, I was excited to try out the Staub Magnetic Wooden Trivet. However, after using it for a while, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with the product. The main issue I have with the trivet is that it's simply too small for most of my Staub pieces. While it technically still works as a trivet, I find that I have to be very careful about where I place my hot pots and pans to ensure they don't spill over the edges. This can be frustrating, as I would expect a trivet designed for use with Staub cookware to be more compatible with a wider range of sizes. Despite its small size, the trivet does still work as intended, and I appreciate that it's magnetic, which makes it easy to attach to the bottom of my Staub pots and pans. The wooden construction is also quite attractive and complements the look of my other Staub pieces. Overall, while the Staub Magnetic Wooden Trivet is a decent product, I can't help but feel a bit dissatisfied with it due to its small size. If you have smaller Staub pieces or don't mind being more careful with placement, it may work well for you. However, if you have larger pieces, I would recommend looking for a larger trivet that's more compatible with your cookware.

Perfect Trivet

I have had a Staub 5.75 oval cocotte dutch oven for years and love it. But it sure is really hot coming out of the oven. This magnetic trivet is the perfect compliment to my beloved dutch oven. So happy to have this!

beautiful quality magnetic trivet

This trivet is wonderful it works just as it was intended and designed to... it is a trivet designed to save your table from serving your meal in your functional and elegant STAUB heat retaining cast iron cookware. The magnetic holds very well to the bottom of your pot or pan, so long as your now swinging it around, after all enamel is supposed to be smooth finished and have a certain glide-over aspect. We are very happy with this product as we have used it both with a Staub Casserole and Saute pan and it really does prevent heat transfer that can damage the finish of your table, unlike a cast iron or other metal trivet. Another addition that we love is that we do not have to transfer the food into another dish to serve. Thus helping in the after dinner clean-up.

Beautiful but was expecting a different shape

The trivet is beautiful, works perfect and if I was buying for myself would have had zero complaints. Whether I read it wrong or assume from the pictures that it was circular and not oval, I’m not sure. My mothers cast iron is round but I’m sure it will work fine.
