Great pan!
Second Tramotina pan I bought, as I was so pleased with the first. Def worth the purchase. I just wish they made a 10-12 inch skillet with this same coating on the inside. Fab pan—non stick and getting plenty of uses out of it. As noted by others—hand wash only to retain the coating. Love it!

Great saucier pot
I like watching a cooking show on YouTube and the chef recommended using a pot like this for making sauces and one pan dishes. But once I started looking into them I was dismayed by the cost of them. The one he uses on the show is over $200.00. So when I came across this one which isn't stainless, but cast iron, I decided to take a chance and get it. Well its been over a month now and it is so great to use. The pot heats evenly, has a great surface for scrapping the sides down and cleans up beautifully. The fact that's its cast iron results in even heat and fast recovery heating. It is a little bit heavy but that's ok because its not designed for tossing but stirring. Plus it comes with a lid which most other pot do not. There is no enamel on the edge so I don't worry about cracking the finish when tapping the spoon. For the cost the value exceeded my expectations.

Update. Very good customer service. Old:Failing after less than 2 years. Don’t skimp. Get the original Le Cruset.
Update: after writing this review I contacted the company about their lifetime warranty. After fairly reasonable exchange an attempt to remedy the situation with my product they sent me a FedEx label and I returned it to them and they sent me back a brand new one. I now give it a solid 4.2 stars. It Is inexpensive and the customer service was very good. NOT at all a worthy alternative to Le Cruset. I bout this and a Le Cruset pot at the same time in 2016 and have been using them roughly equally since. Lately I noticed the blue exterior dulling and the actually coming up off onto the paper towel after cleaning. The interior is also impossible to restore. The yellow Le Cruset by comparison is still shiny and the interior remains almost new. Just don’t do it. These should last a lifetime. That’s the point. These are cheap china-made alternatives that don’t last 2 years without degradation.

Great pan!
Used this for the first time to make meat sauce for pasta - sausages, tomato sauce, etc. - and it worked beautifully. Even heating and very easy to clean. It IS pretty heavy but it's cast iron under that pretty porcelain. I give it an A+; definitely worth the investment, particularly if you compare the price to other pans of similar construction. Way to go Tramontina!

Good product.
Some of the amazon pages get confusing when they have multiple versions products by the same manufacturer. I returned this because it was not the model I wanted. However, I can guarantee it is a very good product. I returned it for the dutch oven - which is also great. If the dutch oven, which is of similar construction, is any indicator, then this is a really good product. I've used it many times - no chips in the enamel (yet) and easy to clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no seasoning/enamel on the rim of the lid. Do yourself a favor and season it with a light coat of... whatever oil/fat you like to season with. BIG BONUS -- really good price point.

My prettiest NEW pot!! You can BAKE, too!!
This sauce pan is beautiful. I am very pleased with my purchase. It cooks food evenly and quickly. I plan to acquire a complete set. I have had Le creuset and Chantal. This is by far prettier and alot less expensive. The color is a gorgeous colonial blue but it has a nice brilliance to the color. I guarantee you are going to love this and the prices. Much more cook friendly than Paula Deen and Rachael Ray. Especially, if on occasion you forget and have overcook and burn...your food maybe overcooked but this pot cleanses easily. Unlike my Le creuset which required cleansers and soaking. I am very satisfied. This IS ONE PRETTY POT GIRLS. You'll love it! I had their lighter style pots, great also.

Perfect piece of cookware
The bowl shape of the pot keeps the ingredients in the center so there is no over-browning at the edges. Perfect for sauces and sauteing of vegetables. It is like having a mini wok.
