K14 must stand for 14 months because that's how long it lasted
I like the fine filter that picked up dirt and sand but feel like it should last longer than 14 months.

It's a genuine Polaris K16
Exactly as advertised. Delivered in 2 days - FedEx. These fine-mesh bags last me 2 to 3 years and keep the bottom super clean. I use generic zipper bags during leaf / pollen seasons. (I have a 16 year old 280).

I use this bag because it capture’s all the grit and sand off the bottom of my pool.

Good quality, smaller than expected
This is an OEM part that has the fit and quality you would expect from Polaris. The bag is fine mesh and really does trap silt and sand very well. The bag is about 1/5 smaller in volume than prior Polaris bag I replaced. Not a problem, just an observation. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The Velcro strap that attaches the bag to hose tore within a couple weeks.
The bag seems to be good quality. Not sure why a very flimsy Velcro strip was used.

Does a good job with fine dust particles
We had an issue with concrete dust in our yard and pool and needed a better filter bag. This one is doing a much better job picking up and holding the dust. Glad we got it.

Sand yes, silt, not so much
I purchased this bag as a replacement for the standard bag that come with my Polaris 280 which I purhased in May 2012. While it does work better for sand, it doesn't work much better for fine silt material. It is a little smaller than the standard bag, but I expected this given it's purpose. It actually works fine for everyday use. If we have a storm and alot of leaves get in the pool, I can use the standard bag's larger capacity to handle that. The velcro on this bag can get gummed up with debris. Someone here suggested letting the bag dry out then just shake the debris out without having to open the velcro end. This works very well and I don't have to fuss with trying to clean the velcro. Having the standard bag and the sand/silt bag is handy. You can use one bag while the other is drying, and if one gets damaged you have another on hand. Overall I'm am happy with the sand/silt bag. But if silt is your primary concern, I don't think this bag will do. You'll probably have to resort to old fashion vacuuming or stir it up so the filter can pick it up (the Polaris 280 does this very well).

Better than the Knock-offs
Works great at filtering fine sand. Not sure about its durability. All my other ones usually rip within a year. This material seems tougher though and may not rip as easily. Always a little too expensive but much better that knock of products.

Meilleur que l’original à fermeture éclair
Tres bon remplacement du produit d’origine don’t la fermeture éclair s’ouvrait toute seule. Ce nouveau modèle est équipé d’un velcro qui ferme correctement et garde les nombreux pollens et feuilles de nos arbres à l’intérieur du sac.

Sac d'origine fabricant
C'est le sac "officiel" du fabricant Polaris, donc la qualité est là. La fermeture se fait par scratch, c'est à la fois plus facile à l'utilisation que la fermeture éclair du modèle K13, mais à la fois plus salissant. Il faut bien nettoyer les scratchs au jet d'eau quand on vide le sac.

Efficace mais moins bien qu'avant
Le sac d'origine était doté d'une fermeture éclair efficace et résistante. Celui ci n'a plus qu'une fermeture "scratch" beaucoup moins pratique et moins propre.

Absolument nécessaire
Sans cet accessoire pas de piscine propre le polaris est parfait il effectue son travail tout les jours aux heures fixées

sans pb !produit d'"origine, délai livraison hyper court, bien meilleur que celui annoncé ,mais un petit peu trop cher ; à ajuster !
