Great Tool
Purchased to replace a finally wore out a Dotco angle grinder that was over 35 years old and used Daily! Seems to be a great replacement so far. Dislike the safety trigger but it is what it is and hopefully breaks off before it’s removed ????‍♂️

Can’t go wrong with IR
Although I was disappointed it was no longer made in America it is still a nice tool and better quality than most of the cheap offshore tools.

IR Die Grinder
I've only used this once so far. I still oil it and fire it up on the air line from time to time to make sure its working. I started replacing my older air tools with IR air tools and so far they work great. I have both this angle grinder and the straight grinder for whatever may come down the road (better safe than sorry). I also have a few of their air ratchets as I do my own automotive work. For the price you can't really beat it. I mostly work on my own vehicles so these don't see the normal abuse as they would in a shop environment but they are still holding up after at least 6-7 years of ownership.

3 years business use and still going strong. Detailed long term review.
Short version: I bought two of these in Feb 2018 for use at my business. They're still going strong and work great. Long version: The HF cheapie die grinders are fine for the guy at home using them once in a blue moon, but they don't hold up at all for regular use. I wanted to get something better than the HF junk but was not willing to spend hundreds for a true "industrial" model. These have fit the bill perfectly. Both units are primarily used with roloc pads doing general metalwork. One has a 3" roloc and is primarily rough sanding. The other has a 2" roloc with some sanding but is primarily used for deburring and polishing with scotchbrite pads. For how we use them power is never an issue but speed modulation is very important. These have been great for that. Interestingly, the more expensive IR models I considered have multiple reviews complaining about a lack of speed control, but I've had no complaints with this model. The front exhaust has been a plus for our use. But, I do not have auto-oilers on our shop lines. We just manually add a few drops once in a while (probably far less frequently than we should). They are not used all day every day like a production fab shop, but they definitely see daily use. Honestly though, if you're using a tool for multiple hours every day you should be buying WAY more expensive industrial level air tools. As others have mentioned, the collets do have a tendency to stick. This hasn't really been an issue for us. We're not changing things that often and when we do they break loose with a tap after loosening the nut sufficiently. In summary, at this price point I can't imagine a better bang for the buck. They're good quality yet still very affordable. Speed modulation is great. They are compact and light weight. They have a study, solid feel to them, not loose and sloppy like the HF tools. I will definitely buy these again if we need more.

Perfect shop tool
I grabbed this guy a while back and use it in the automotive industry. It's been holding up well, and it's been getting the job done. I use it to remove surface rust on metal parts. It weighs almost nothing. It doesn't jerk my hand around with the torque so I'd say it's easy to control. This little guy is a great pick up for anyone.

I’m kinda “eh” on this one.
I use my air tools hard and daily for aircraft grade aluminum. Wire wheels and 3m sand disks put a lot of strain on these tools as well as fine aluminum particles. If you use these tools hard an all day I’d suggest getting the bigger IR 90 for the extra power and longevity. This guy lasted 8 months and was oiled daily. What got me was the gears inside the 90. Air tool oil is very important but a lot of people miss the grease inlet in the top of the 90 and is just as important to clean out every now and again with a fresh grease. Things get in there and gears and bearings wear out. As in my case.

Great die grinder
Make sure that your air tools are not used because the two I bought where used so I am not to happy but you learn and live

Shipped me a previously used unit
Had to return immediately. Setting up the tool on my bench, I discovered that every threaded mating surface had been coated with red thread-locker. I had to clamp the unit in a bench vise and use a cheater bar to get the threads exposed, but the threads were too fouled up. Ended up driving to a Big Box store and shipping this waste of time back.

Good power for small light tool
I picked this up to replace several larger air dremmel tools and a few drills I've been abusing. So far so good. It was used to cut fiberglass in the picture. Ran off the 20gallon compressor I had but it ate air quick. Still lots of grunt for what it is. Light and comfortable to use in multiple tight spaces. Doesn't seem to get cold as you use it like other air tools. It's my new favorite tool.

Decent mid-range die grinder
Compact size works well for me. It's not a powerful die grinder but suitable for use with sanding discs, etc. were heavy pressure and cutting is not needed. The safety lever spring is a little stronger than I would like but I can modify it to reduce the effort needed to press it out of the way and operate the paddle lever.

Either got a dud or they started using different parts
The first one i bought is amazing, i figured id bever buy a different grinder again just keep on re purchasing this one, how ever when i bought my second one it was super weak, it still works just about half as strong right out of the package. I don't know if they used different inside parts but its not worth buying again! Not sure if i got a dud or not
