Sturdy and hard to find, price is steep

Most of these type of support pegs are 1/2 inch, i couldn't find any in stores that were 3/4 inch. It's a bit pricy but needed.

Fits Kraftmaid cabinets but poorly made

Needed to replace the original ones that came with my Kraftmaid cabinets, some of which finally broke after 13 years of use in a pantry full of canned goods. The 5mm pegs were definitely the right size. However, they are very cheaply made. You can see a seam half way down which makes me think they might easily snap in half. Also, 5 of the 6 weren't even fully cut out...poor quality control. The tab in the middle that is supposed to flex so that the cabinet can slide in then be locked in place was still attached to the back of it, making it rigid and inflexible. We had to use a dremmel tool and/or a file to clean out the extra plastic so it would be functional. It wasn't worth the hassle to try to return it, just frustrating that it wasn't ready to use straight out of the box. I am just hoping they last. For the price, I suppose it was a good value, but I don't know that I would buy this particular brand again if there was another similar alternative product.

Exact replacements for my shelf supports!

I had to replace some broken shelf supports because the contractor installed them upside down. These were the same exact supports, right down to the same product number printed on the plastic. Considering the broken ones lasted ten years despite being installed incorrectly, I expect the new ones to outlive me. Super easy to install and the shelves slid right into place without a bit of hassle. Sometimes, things just work...

Description Doesn’t Include Max Load Rating

I ordered this to replace similar shelf pegs that broke under load. Problem is, the vendor’s description didn’t provide any load info, a critical piece of info in my opinion. The 5lb Max load wasn’t revealed until I received the product, and was insufficient for my anticipated need.

Protect dishes/glassware, Keep kitchen shelf’s in place

It’s a small inexpensive item but when it keeps a kitchen shelf in place it’s critical. The flat pegs kept falling out. I was so afraid my dishes would get broken. They are quite valuable and I have collected them since I was 21. So that is why I wrote a review on a small inexpensive item

Check the actual structure of your own shelf supports if you want to replace just 1

I was thrilled to get these today - till I tried to put my shelf on the one that replaced an original shelf support. Turned out that they are made a little shorter so that one shelf corner was at a different height than the other three original corners, and the peg is a teeny bit wider than the original 5mm peg holes, even though the new shelf supports are supposed to be 5mm. I had to keep twisting and turning to get the new ones into the holes. And I said the new ONES because I had to replace all four corners since the new one is not the same height as the old ones. They are also a thinner plastic and I don’t expect them to last as long as the originals did but I’m still happy to have my shelf back inside my cupboard.

Perfect replacement shelf peg

I was fearful that once again my home had something unique and difficult to replace. When one of my original pegs broke, I went to the local hardware store to find a replacement and as usual they had nothing like what I was replacing. Once again I turned to reliable Amazon.com and sure enough I found these. There were different sizes available so I had to be careful when ordering, but I got the right size and these worked perfectly. I now have a few extras should any more brackets break or if I decide to add additional shelves at some point.

Wrong size or style?

I bontes to replace some that broke in my kitchen cabinet. The ones I needed or 1/4 inch in diameter exactly however the ones I got were slightly less than 1/4 inch although they said they were 1/4 inch., I don't know if I missed measured or maybe mine are slightly larger than 1/4 inch but I thought I would take pictures and show you the difference in case you're thinking of ordering this product. If you think mine are larger than a quarter inch I would really like to know because I measured from the outside not the inside. When I put the smaller one in my cabinet whole they fell out. So now I have to look for different ones, Or a different style.

Doesn't work if your shelf fits exact width of the cabinet!

Because the vertical part of this support protrudes ~1mm from the cabinet wall, your shelf needs to be ~2mm narrower than the opening you are installing it in. So if your shelf touches the side of the cabinet wall and there's no gap, this is NOT what you want to buy!! Otherwise, it seems well made.
