Takes time but works

After call to mighty mule, an hour or so ( not counting time to replace items) and having a sharp repair person to do the electrical, this replacement works well.

Not smart enough to make it work

Even with three calls to product support I could not get it to work consistently Last call said it likely was defective I will have a try at warranty now since I waited to long to return it Happy to report, The product support folks were responsive trying to get it to work initially, and they were equally good to deal with getting a replacement. So, kudos for trying. Will report if the new one is any better than the last one. So, now we have tried again with the new one, same results. I even had the engineering student next door (who is techy) tied and failed to get it operational. Sending it back, wasted time

Poor Quality

I bought this thinking it would be great for when delivery people drop off them when they leave the automatic opener would open the gate and let them out. I got a call from a delivery person while I was at work because they were trapped on my property. Needless to say, it no longer works. Had it 3 months that's it. Waste of money

FOREVER FRIENDS

If you hate to see your friends go, this sensor is your solution. No matter how many times they reverse and pull forward they'll never get out. That gate WILL. NOT. OPEN. Forced to drive back to your house for assistance you've got them right where you want them. Start up the grill and crack open a cold one, this is where the plan starts. Tell them you'll look for that "clicker" in a minute after you take those burgers off the grill. Give them a tour of the house, including that fully furnished spare bedroom. Look at that, you've made extra burgers and you tell your friend "you've gotta eat at some point." Turn on a game while you eat because who can leave in the middle of a game. The minutes turn to hours and the hours into days. Your friend no longer remembers what lays beyond your gate and has no desire to ever find that "clicker." Congratulations, because you haven't just gained a roommate but a live in friend. You'll live out the remainder of your days living off the land and never knowing the trouble of the outside world, with your two stray dogs Mighty and Mule.

Sensitivity all over the place

Installation was easy. However the sensitivity to control the gate is out to lunch. After initial set up everything worked fine for about a week. Then my gate wouldn’t open when I drove close to the sensitivity bar. So I adjusted the sensitivity dial in small increments until I got it working again. Later that day I noticed that the gate would open and close all by itself with nobody or anything was close to the sensitivity bar. So I adjusted the sensitivity dial once again in small increments going back towards the less sensitive position. Finally got the gate to stop operating all by itself. Later I went to leave the property and the gate wouldn’t open again. At this point I replaced the batteries thinking this would fix the problem but it did not. I would recommend purchasing a different brand.
