Cool tool but disappointed no vertical line

I like the self leveling horizontal line. However, what I didn't realize is that it does not seem to be able to do vertical lines, which is something I need as well.

Good purchase

Used this for hanging shelving in hall. The only downside I noticed is when turning it to use the laser vertically it only works if you turn it to one side, otherwise the laser won't work.

It’s ok

It does what it needs to do. The nail part you mount to the wall with that is supposed to “screw” into the back of the unit is of poor quality. The stud finder is trash. Overall it’s ok but not great

Easy to use. Needs a case

Works fine and found the studs.. However, it comes with a plastic part to hang it off the wall for laying a a laser. That part is going to be REALLY easy to lose since it doesn't store itself ON the tool, and the tool doesn't come with a case. At least it came with batteries.

Good combination

This product is a good combination of a laser level and stud finder. Works well

On the plus side, I did like the laser level. It's self-leveling and the push-pin feature is a great idea. However...the stud finding capabilities are sorely lacking, for a couple of reasons: 1) The LCD display is not readable if not at eye level or above. 2) When moving the unit from right to left, I could find the stud edge, but when back-scanning from left to right, I could not pick up the left edge of the stud. I tried this repeatedly and no-go. I returned the unit and bought a ZIRCON stud finder. It does not include the laser level but I never used that feature anyway with the Mastercraft one I had been using for years and needed to replace. The ZIRCON L50 works well and is consistently accurate.

Stud finder is useless but laser level works well

I tried the stud finder on this unit numerous times in different areas and it never worked properly. Even after double and triple checking where it said the edges of the studs were and drilling in the middle resulted in missing more studs then hitting them. I would have returned this but I actually like the auto leveling laser level and how you can hang this on the wall, so I decided to keep it anyways.

Probably the worst stud finder I've ever got

Was hopeful due to higher ratings, but the reviews which show how inaccurate this thing is are 100% bang on. This stud finder "finds" a stud across maybe 6 or so inches, telling me that the edges are 6 inches apart. I tried starting over, using different walls, same problem. Extremely unhappy especially since I am outside of the return window. Product is absolutely useless as I have to use a small drill bit to literally guess where the stud is in those 6 or so inches.

Extremely Inaccurate

Finds studs, then says there's no stud. Not user friendly either. Not sure what's up with this product but we returned it. Wasn't worth keeping just for a laser level. Looks like a lot of reviews are similar so I would suggest buying a different product!

Para cosas casares esta perfecto, el sensor de cables me ha funcionado bien y aunque si hay una ligera variación en el nivel, sirve perfectamente.
