Low strength, auto leveling can be annoying

I haven't used a laser level like this in the past, so i didn't want to spend hundreds. You definitely get what you pay for, this has a pretty weak beam that doesn't reach 30' in the daytime, and the self levelling works by having the LED emitter suspended on a little pendulum that hangs inside the box. It works great on vertical surfaces, but if you are trying to lay out lines on the floor or something, or lay out landscaping edging on the ground, it is really hard to work with. Overall this could be a much more useful product with a bit better design, but for 30 bucks its a pretty good deal. The clamp/mount uses a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount screw, and its almost worth it just for how nice that is. I have put it on my camera tripod for a few projects as well.

Works well but attachment doesn’t work as pictured

It was very accurate. The picture shows the attachment being used sort of like a tripod, to raise it up a little. This doesn’t work - the attachment falls over.

For the price this thing is great

I waited way too long to buy this. For hanging shelves, paintings, mirrors, etc... Anything that goes on the wall and needs to be level - this thing is great. At first I didn't trust it completely and came through to double check everything after drawing lines and hanging stuff. I've done that enough times with a perfect result, so I now trust the lines this thing makes. It does take some getting used to as far as setup goes though. The unit has to be at a similar height to the level lines you want on the wall. I found a cheap mic stand works in place of a tripod. If I can, I usually mount it to door trim. You must also make sure the unit itself is mostly level. It will flicker at a long interval if it is not level. Overall well worth the money for home use. I'm sure it wouldn't hold up well for professional use and abuse.

Saved my wall tile project

Maybe not the most accurate version of this sort of product but if you position it well and use the center of the lines, the laser will clearly mark you level lines both vertically and horizontally. I have no idea how tilers used to do this without a laser. If you use a real level and draw a line, your line is covered over as soon as you thinset your backer board! The laser is awesome because you can set it and set exactly where your tile line has landed letting you shim up the first row easily and accurately. Could be a tad brighter and a tad straighter at the ends of the lines but I generally found myself using the more accurate and brighter center area. All complaints about it flickering or blinking are easily attributed to user error where the device detects gimble lock (it is tilted too far out of level for the inside hanging part to swing to where it needs to be to continue drawing a level line). This is a good feature not a bad feature! You don't want it to be gimble locked and think your line is good to do something with (hang tile or painting or cabinets or whatever) so the device detects the user error condition and disables the laser output. No this wasn't written in the manual but this is common sense for how it works and why.

Una buena herramienta a buen costo.

Este nivel es muy útil, liviano y compacto, su sistema de soporte para fijación es muy bueno. Sirve para trabajos en interior, no tiene un alcance extraordinario (no mas de 10 o 12 metros) pero cumple su función. NO sirve para usar en exterior durante el día, la luz solar lo anula completamente. Buena marca, buen producto, buen precio.

Dentro de casa excelente vista

Buen equipo Sirve para colocar cuadros o trabajos dentro de casa exteriores no sirve 2 problemas 1.- no se prende hasta que realmente esté derecho (si está chueco se apaga) entonces es un poco difícil ubicarlo dónde es reuqerido 2.- no tiene botón para apagar o prender solo se activa al levantar la tapa

Buena marca mal díseño

Es buena marca, lo que te da tranquilidad en tu producto, pero todo ese armatoste que trae para ajustar altura, ángulo y posición, es un poco complicado de usar, ya cuando te acostumbras no es tan relevante, pero no deja de ser difícil de ajustar cunado ya estás milímetros de lograr el ajuste deseado, una buena idea aparte del armatoste que incluye, sería que tuviera integrado un imán para colocarlo en superficies verticales donde no se pueda sujetar el accesorio que incluye. De ahí en fuera no e tenido problemas para usarlo.

easy leveling

Works well and the red laser has good visibility. However, as others have mentioned, the device and the target point must be at the same height for it to work quickly. The included clamp is not a bad idea, but it's not convenient to use.

No es fácil de usar

Por su descripción me pareció un producto interesante pero al tratar de usarlo resulta que necesitaba un nivelador de burbuja para ayudar a centrar/nivelar el laser... así que me di cuenta que para trabajos sencillos se requiere un nivelador para nivelar el laser del Bosch...?? Bosch siempre me ha parecido una gran marca pero en este caso creo que elegí mal este producto

Buen dispositivo relación calidad-precio.

Creo que es un buen producto para utilizar en proyectos del hogar, nada tan elaborado que requiera una alta precisión. La relación calidad-precio creo es justa puesto que no se está comprando un dispositivo de uso profesional. Una clara desventaja es que su uso está condicionado al ambiente de trabajo y el uso de un triple lo que incrementa su costo de operación. El nivel debe estar por debajo de los 4 grados de inclinación hacia cualquier lado o de otra manera no funciona correctamente, el brillo o potencia del láser es visible dentro de un cuarto pero no lo suficiente para exteriores. Overall es un buen dispositivo a un precio justo. Pero ahora que lo pienso talvez hubiera invertido un poco más en uno mejor que pudiera utilizar para proyectos más grandes o en exterior.
