Sturdy, including, stackable modular storage tote
I evaluated several modular tool storage platforms and manufacturers. The criteria for selection was utility, availability, and most of all price. Modular tool storage systems are prohibitively expensive and a full set ends up costing upwards of a five hundred to a thousand dollars for basically what amounts to a bunch of cheap plastic boxes. No doubt there are high profit margins on these products. I ultimately selected two platforms due to backwards compatibility. I selected the Craftsman Tradestack and Craftsman and DeWalt Versastack/TStack. I purchased the larger Craftsman Tradestack for the rolling base toolbox and due to it's adapter, which allows you to attach Versastack/TStack storage and toolboxes. These Versastack Tote boxes are great. They are sturdy with decent recessed folding handles and have the benefit that I can buy multiple totes and stack them together in any configuration with other boxes and lock the stack together. The tote has an insert along the inner wall that allows you to put frequently needed hand tools. I can buy several and use them for general tool and materials storage and only grab the totes I need. They are great for all those odds and ends and/or bulky tools that are difficult to store and carry. And they are affordable, since these are technically last generation storage systems, you can find them on sale and on clearance. The ability to attach to the larger Craftsman Tradestack system is just a bonus. Craftsman was smart to provide an adapter with their base Tradestack system. Additionally since Versastack is also 100% compatible with DeWalt TStack, I can mix and match boxes from each platform based upon need. Ultimately this was the deciding factor for me to invest in these, compatibility across two different generations and three different platforms. The only other platform with cross-compatibility is the Festool Systainer, Tanos Tloc, and Metabo Metabox, which all use the Systainer standard. Cross-compatibility and functionality across multiple generations is a huge thing. There are all these purposely incompatible competing tool systems, each of which are vying for your dollars, and require you to invest in a manufacturers platform rather than just being able to buy the best tool for a particular job. Whether it's cordless power tools and batteries, or storage systems. Open cross-compatible standards are important, and without these open standards nobody wins except the companies. Certainly not consumers and certainly not the environment. That's why I chose this particular system.

Once mighty USA, now made in China......
Don't get me wrong all tool boxes and screwdrivers and small pliers still made in USA, but all of the tools as in wrenches, rachets, sockets are now sourced out of China. But this tool chest is very practical and well built, but just keep in mind it's plastic

It arrived today and it's perfect to store my craftsman tools.. Just what I needed! I'm just a home owner with a small tool collection. No pro here but they seem to do the job for household chores... and they fit my budget!!!

Great tool storage
I added this to my Craftsmen packout kit that I use for my RC racing tools and parts. It works great and is an awesome value. Sad to see these becoming harder to come by.

Rugged Rugged Rugged
I have had this for a few months and I have tried to beat the hell out of it. A ton of tools crammed in it -- dropped it off of ladders, off the car, down the stairs. Tops 50lbs of tools Only complaint I have is the should strap is a little goofy.

FIND SOMETHING ELSE
Delivered in a box that was half open. Toolbox was dirty, dusty, like it has been used! Wheels are flimsy, they look like they have a 100 miles on them, worn out already. This must have been a return and they ship it out like this. Totally DESAPOINTED. I'll keep it, just don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it, but like I said, what a disappointment!!!

Fue mi error no asegurarme de revisar el tamaño ya que creí que era del mismo tamaño que las otras cajas de la serie VERSASTACK, por lo que es un producto muy caro para lo que ofrece, es de buena calidad pero no lo recomiendo debido a su relación precio-calidad Saludos

Excelente para mi necesidad.
Es buen producto, de buenas dimensiones y es resistente al uso que damos en el trabajo, transportamos la herramienta de mano y herramienta eléctrica como estériles, taladros, etc. De momento ha funcionado perfectamente, pues es una caja son compartimentos internos, tapaderas y broches, solo el asa, y es robusta.
