An Acrylic Paint That I Finally Feel Comfortable With And Love

These paints are an incredible quality of acrylics and I was able to get started to right out of the box . For many years I refused to use acrylic paint because I couldn't control the drying time, I like to paint wet on wet and with acrylics my canvas was dry before I could figure out what was next. Frustration set in and I gave up. After years and hundreds of dollars spent on oil paints, I had to try something else so back acrylics. Being a professional artist I only use high quality paint because each piece is a potential sale. These paints fit the bill, the colors are highly pigmented, thick and rich in texture a little goes a long way. Plus I discovered a "retarder" this allows the paint to stay wet longer, and my game is back. I love these paints and here's my first acrylic painting in over 30 years! Buy these for beginners or pros. A great product, highly recommended.

Not best of quality

The yellow was clumpy texture straight out of the packet. The white dried extra fast and was difficult to work with. I bought this because I like the pouch packaging. But I think from here out I’ll stick with other brands.

Feel of the paint

I've avoided using acrylic and opted for oils and gouache. I didn't like the plasticky and rubbery feel of the paint. But, with Sennelier that feeling isn't there as much, and I can't use oils unless I've a good ventilation system. Acrylic's are also more durable than gouache and can be used with other media.

Too thick

I have already returned one set, but being optimistic I thought that might just have been one in storage for a long time -- I couldn't get any paint out! My new set is a LITTLE better but not much. If I squeeze with all my might I get paint but not in a neat little line -- blob is more accurate.. Either nothing or too much. Great idea, but at least as I experienced it -- poor execution by the maker.

Good Effect

Good Effect but when it gets half way down needs lots of pressure to get the paint out which hurts hands.

White package is not "fresh"

I'm new at acrylic painting and this brand was recommended by a friend, saying it was good value for the money. All the colors have a similar consistency & remain useable for extended amount of time, while keeping them hidrated. The white turns into leather on top almost immediately. Spritz with water doesn't help. Have to dig under the "leather" for useable paint. Disappointed. I hope the seller sends me a new tube if the white.

good product

The paint is great, happy with the product itself but the tips were missing from the pack. The plastic box which the paints were in had clearly been opened then put inside the amazon box, so i think this happened at the amazon fulfillment centre. I see that others have had this issue also. I dont think this is the fault of the seller as Cass art are well known and have a good reputation. Edit: i informed both Amazon and Cass art that I and others have had this problem and they are going to investigate so hopefully no one else will have this issue : )

Missing items from delivery! Very disappointed!

Paints arrived but NO paint tips! Missing the 8 paint tips means I cannot use the paint so cannot comment on quality of paint. I’ve now seen on reviews that this has happened to other people too!
