Great fit for our toddler, easy to secure to chair and clean

Our toddler was struggling with typical high chairs with trays -- we were very excited to test out booster seats that could bring her directly to the table using a typical dining chair. This was our favorite of a few that we tried -- we've found it easiest to clean (yes there are nooks and crannies, but they all have these, and we've had no problem wiping down very sticky/crumbly messes with a quick wipe of a cloth), easy to strap very securely to any chair, versatile, and portable. She's a bit short so we put a textbook underneath it and it's equally secure with the couple of extra inches she needed to have full access to the table. We couldn't be more pleased.

So far so good

I just started using this booster for my 2YO triplets so ease and function are very important to me. I have noticed no problems with the booster so far. I saw mixed opinions on the chair straps being within the booster seat itself, I was worried that would bother me but I think it's great bc it keeps the loose straps concealed and they would be very easy to get to adjust if needed. It might bother someone who only has them out for grandchildren visiting but even still, I think it's more than worth the purchase. The only thing I've noticed that I might change is the back of the booster doesn't necessarily hit the back of our chairs, so if my kids need to lean back the booster hits their middle back. It doesn't seem to bother them, but I know I personally wouldn't want to lean back onto a thin plastic back of a chair. That being said, I'd purchase this again no problem. You can't even tell the boosters are on the chairs when they are pushed in and out of use, and I'm really happy I bought them.

Easy To Store & Set-up

The booster seat has been super nice with our child moving up from his high-chair. All-though you cannot adjust the overall height of the chair, it has been super nice during our meals as a family. If your child does drop stuff in-between the straps/behind the chair, it’s easy to clean out but has a lot of crevices to clean. All and all, the price is reasonable with the chair nice in our home.

Almost Perfect!

We ordered a few other boosters and ended up returning them due to size. This one’s low profile works great with our farmhouse-style table! It folds super easily as well, and I love the handle for carrying to take it with us. Only downside - a total pain to clean. Crumbs get down in the back “crack,” lol. It comes apart easily and it’s not “hard” to clean, just a pain…I’m thinking it’s because it’s not all one piece, due to the folding aspect. But I love that it folds…so I’m torn. All in all I’d recommend and buy it again!

Better than I expected

I bought 2 of these seats, for my 14 month old and my 2½ year old. Both are somewhat small for their age and I was worried there wouldn't be enough of a boost, pleasantly surprised that it still works for both of them, but they still have room to grow. Love that they tuck under the table completely. Really like that the seat to chair attachment straps adjust under the top of the booster seat, so there's no straps hanging... just looks cleaner. Super easy to clean and the 3 point harness is nice and sturdy. Folds easily and there's clips on the bottom to stow the straps. Thrilled that it works at home and also travels easily.

Great, but can be annoying to clean

Let me start off saying this chair is great, but with an asterisk. It is a little annoying to clean. I still gave it 5 stars because it really only takes a minute or two. I just think when they were designing this thing, more consideration should have been given to how messy toddlers can be when they eat. Sometimes I can just wipe down the cushion and vacuum out the inside. But sometimes I have to I have to wash the entire base in the sink to get food out of all the little nooks and crannies that are under the cushion. I love everything else about the chair. It’s light, compact, travels well , and doesn’t get in the way when I push the chair in to the table. It’s easy to adjust the straps and comfy for my toddler to sit in. I just wanted to warn people who want something that’s a quick wipe down so you can move on. This might not be what you’re looking for, even though it is a really good product.

All Straps DO Adjust- Great Product

Great booster seat. I almost didn't buy it because other reviews claim that the two straps that go around the back and bottom of the chair don't adjust. Their confusion is understandable but please note that the straps DO adjust. The gray cushion of the seat lifts up and the adjustments on the straps are located there!

So much of the oxo stuff is good. This is not

So much of the oxo stuff is good. This is not. There's a good basis - back support, safety straps to stay on the chair and of the child, a firm seat (so very important for good posture). Whoever designed this did so entirely without eating a meal with a small child though. There are so many nooks and crannies for food to get jammed in, caked in, secreted in, to fall in. It is DISGUSTING how filthy this thing gets just by looking at it. It is so *difficult* to clean, too - you have to take the thing to bits, clean in every little bit. In the short window between dinner and bathe you want to wipe the table, floor and chair - done. This is not your product, I'm afraid. Its big plus is the firmness of the seat - so many booster seats have foam that makes the child slouch.

Good

So far so good, my 3 year old is happy sitting on a big boy chair and the booster gives him the extra couple of centimetres to reach the table comfortably. It’s easy to attach to the chair and it’s possible to store the harness when not in use.

Nice quality and feel, a really good product

If only our 2 year old daughter wanted to sit down in any chair this would be ideal. This is a well made, quality product that is both safe, has no sharp edges and should make any normal 2 year old (apart from ours) feel a part of the table when sitting in it.

Well made, but doesn't boost by much

This is well designed, and well made, and provided you remove the seat it is easy to clean. We never found that it boosted little one by that much, so in the end it didn't get that much use.
