Great quality but doesn't add a lot of height

I really like this chair, but it wasn't tall enough to add enough height for my kid to see over our table. Still great quality so we will use it when she gets a little taller, but just be sure to check height first!

Simple and affordable

I got this to try since our kids were really starting to beat up our hand me down seats which they were also starting to outgrow. What appealed to me about this seat is it sits a little lower compared to the other boosters we had which had a taller base to hide away a detachable tray. Our kids figured out how to release the tray clips and were just becoming too difficult to feed. I like how this booster is simple and easier to clean with less surfaces to wipe around or trap crumbs. Our prior seats had a hump in the middle for leg separation and perhaps stability on real young kids - so I like how this doesn't have that. The straps are all simple enough to adjust. I like how the ones to anchor the booster to a chair don't hook in like our last booster. Our kids were able to sometimes pull up enough on the strap to unhook it from the booster and they can't do that with this style. On the other hand, the straps for their buckle are easy to adjust but there isn't a feature allowing you to tie off or contain the excess strap when they are tightened down. Not a huge deal since the kids don't care but I feel it to be a bit clunky looking. The release button for the straps may take a little practice for anyone with dexterity issues. Not a problem for me but considering most straps and buckles I've used have 2 clear pinch points for your thumb and pointer, this is a more flat wide button and you need to firmly press it in the center to release both straps. It's simple 1-handed operation for me but if I didn't press it evenly, I've seen it not release both sides of the straps you buckle in. It is simple to clean out since you won't need to wipe around any humps and there aren't any cut outs where crumbs fall through or food gets pushed (in my few week experience). The 1 annoyance with the design I have is the base has a protruding flat lip around it and this does catch crumbs. I did wish that they just had this drop straight off with no lip around the base. But given the affordable price and that I have twins, I chose to buy a second one of these within the first few days of using our first one. I'd recommend it as being simple to use, install, transport, clean - for the price. If you need something with a tray or have a very large style chair or tiny chair then perhaps you may need to shop around if this won't easily secure to your chairs.

Squishy!

This seat works well! The seat is a little harder wipe, compared to the plastic part of the seat. Straps remove easily for washing.

Exactly what I wanted

It comes off the chair easy. But I leave it on the chair, we have enough chairs so he has his own chair. He climbs right up in it, and it sits him the perfect height to be up at the dinner table. And it's easy to clean.

Great buckle!

The gray part on the seat is rubbery and compresses a bit when you put weight on it. It only elevates about 2 1/2 inches, so make sure that's all the boost you need; otherwise, maybe you can stack some very large books under it? My absolute favorite part about this is the button on the buckle for when you want to unbuckle your child. Press hard enough with one hand, and the straps just "POP" open and fly out of the way! lol Most buckles would require using both hands, but this is very handy while holding a baby in my other arm. :P

I would have liked the straps that secure the seat to be longer they barely fit around my dining chair. Otherwise it is a good booster seat for the price
