Decent product

I would recommend this to a friend who enjoyes leaf tea. Mine turned brown which is expected after 6 months of heavy use of making black tea. Unlike some other reviews it still holds on. It's very good quality and does the job. My only concern would be cleaning this thing. It can be a pain to wash off all the small tealeaves of its walls. Other than that a great product. 4.5/5

Use it every day for fruit soda

I absolutely love this product. I make fruit soda by mixing the concentrate and sparkling water. Sometimes the fruit concentrate has fruit chunks or pieces that I don’t want in my drink. I use this to filter them out while making my drink. Afterwards, I just throw it in the dish washer and it comes back out good as new!

Very nice

OXO makes good products IMO. This thing is expensive when you compare it to similar products, but I went with the brand. In terms of functionality, the holes are small enough that not too much gets through. It is a nice size and fits in a regular mug. I really like the silicone on the underside of the handles (hard to see in the product pics) as it keeps them cooler. Having used other products without it, I have never had any of them get too hot for comfort, but still a plus for me. The size is deep enough to really allow the tea to move and expand, so like that too. Time will tell if it is a durable product. Haven’t put it in the dishwasher, which it is supposed to be good for, but prefer to hand wash stuff like this anyway. Definitely recommend it based on using it.

So great, I bought another one for work!

Sturdy, perfect size to make a great cup of tea. Could definitely brew multiple cups, as well. I loved it so much, I bought two so I could also brew my tea this way at work and get away from the waste of tea bags (plus be able to blend teas and customize how much tea leaves to use per cup to my taste) OXO is always a trusted brand, in my opinion. I’ve had many of my tools by them for years and years.

Really useful and keeps tea hot

I recently had the pleasure of using the Oxo tea leaf infuser and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The build quality is excellent and it feels sturdy in your hand. Just what I was looking for!

For several years I had been using a reusable tea bag that I would fill with loose-leaf tea as an alternative to buying ready-made teas in bottles, or using single-use tea bags. It worked, but was a total pain to clean. It was difficult to get the wet tea out of the bag and made a mess (going into the bag as well). For the holiday season this past year I decided to invest in a nicer tea infusing set-up, and this little apparatus came highly recommended! I am really happy with how easy it is to fill, the internal capacity, and how simple it is to clean. I also appreciate that the lid doubles as a tray when you remove the strainer from your cup. I was a bit worried at the diameter of the infuser when I first pulled it out of the box--it seemed large. But I have yet to find a cup that is too narrow to use the infuser with. I am really glad I bought it!

Perfect! Fits even my widest tea cup (a squat 20 oz.). The holes are tiny enough to keep in my herbal leaves, yet wide enough to allow all the goodness of my homemade herbal/green tea concoctions to shine through. I smile as I use it every day. Hint: I use a little vitamin c powder (Dr's Best) a scoop of collagen, hibiscus flower (Anthony's), green tea, and a tsp or 2 of allulose to make the most delicious health tea. Try it!

Best Tea Diffuser I've Ever Experienced

This tea diffuser is a must have for loose tea drinkers. I was beginning to hate getting tea until I bought this device. There are no tea leaves or particles in my drink every time and it's so easy to clean! Setting it down in the cup is also a breeze as it doesn't create much displacement of water or overflow. I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it! Love, love, LOVE!

Good all around Infuser

PROS: - Rubber bottom helps the basket from sliding - Wide container makes it easier to clean - Fits very large mugs CONS: - Top cover knocks off very easily. The groove that keeps it in place could be deeper VERDICT: Like other OXO products, design is exceptional and quality is great for the price point. Product is finished nicely and should last a long time.

Fits perfectly and brews my tea very well

I've got a standard tea mug and the filter fits perfectly. It covers the mug with its silicone lid so when I remove the filter, my tea is still hot! My Japanese green tea tasted lovely, the leaves could expand and release their flavour. The filter is pricey, but totally worth it as it will last forever (it's very sturdy!) :-)
