The Chair I've Been Looking For!

I've been in the computer/tech industry for 20 years, so I am constantly sitting for work and playing video games. I also suffer from Osteoarthritis in my neck/back as well as Fibromyalgia and I'm only 4'10" so seating comfort and adjust-ability is a huge factor for me. A chair that is "high back" to others is way too high for me and it does not allow comfort on my neck, but most of the nice office executive chairs that I had tried at several stores were always high back, so I was really concerned it would be too high for me. The back actually comes to the middle of the back of my head so I can lean my head back enough and not feel as if I'm choking. I also needed a chair that could adjust up or down (I am short) and tilt back or sit me up straight (as I need adjusting throughout the day). This office chair is amazing! It hit all my needs and wants in one. I especially like the adjustable flip up arms as sometimes I like to sit right up against the desk and most of the time chair arms will get in the way, but the adjustable arms are perfect. The seat is comfortable both on my bottom and my back, though I do have to use a spine/tailbone cushion anyways. I did notice about 6 months of owning the chair that the adjustable handle that locks the chair from rocking back and forth will pop out every now and then, scaring the heck out of me as I think I'm sitting straight and then POP the chair rocks back. It's not a big issue, as it doesn't happen a lot and I've had other chairs do that as well. It's meant to either lock you upright or allow you to rock, but when it unlocks itself, it gives me a short scare. Other than that, the chair looks sleek and classy in my office space and it's just simply perfect! I will definitely buy more for my husband and teens!

Lasted 7 months

Purchased in Jan. 22... it's now Nov. 8 and for the last few weeks I have to pull the lever and pop the chair back up every 5 mins. Pretty inconducive to a productive workday when you just battle your chair height all day because it won't stay up. The finish is also cheap and comfort is mediocre. I've paid less for much nicer chairs.

Nice chair for the price.

I wanted a "poofy" (meaning not flat/hard/uncomfortable) desk chair and only had a certain budget to work with - this chair was basically just what I expected. If you want some extravagant, luxuriously comfortable chair then you're obviously going to have to pay for it! But for the price, this chair is just fine. It's a heck of a lot more comfortable than the $45 flat, hard, basic one that I had before.. It looks very nice too (beautiful dark brown color). I've only had it for a few weeks but I am perfectly happy with this purchase. It swivels, reclines back, and has adjustable arms for when you want to sit indian-style and not have those annoying chair arms in your way. ;) If you want an *affordable*, decently comfortable desk chair then this one is perfect. Also, cats love it. ;D

LIke others - the seat bottom padding wears out fast

I like the chair and it's design. this is the 2nd I bought. I don't expect it to last more than 2-3 years - not for this price. The bottom wears out in weeks - the padding is too thin and I use a seat cushion on top of it. IN general, I like the way this leans, it's stable and I can even kick my legs up on it.

Very Uncomfortable

This is suppose to be a chair for big and tall. It has ended up being a very small chair and the seat, which I thought would be long enough, cuts off into my legs. Plus, the back is very, very stiff and will not recline hardly at all. It is giving me a back ache. Very dissapointed.

I like it...

Recently purchased this for a home workstation...easy to put together and comfortable. Would like the back to be a tad bit higher but I'm short and it works. I would buy it again

Excellent and comfy chair

I am so happy I bought this chair. I tried out many at the brick and mortar places enough to know the size I needed. I am short (5'2") and this hits me just right with the top of the chair at my neck and not pushing my head forward which so many too large chairs do. I like the flip up arms, handy for when I play guitar and yet at a good height when I do other tasks. It was not too difficult to put together, a bit fussy to get the bolts started and everything aligned. I wish the seat was a bit more padded and the seat height is only 22" which is mostly good for me but sometimes I like to be higher. This might be too low for a large person but for me it works.

Had to replace after 18 months.

Upon receiving this chair back in March 2019, I was impressed with the comfort and appearance. I liked the flip up arms. It rolls smoothly, and the gas lift has held up well. I do not like the very limited back reclining range, common with many others. I am having to replace it after only 18 months of use. The arm rests are cracking and peeling along the edges, as are the seams on the seat. The seat padding has gone completely flat and it feels like sitting on a hard board, which lasted about 6 months, and I've just been putting up with it. Overall, I would not recommend this chair to anyone expecting it to last more than one year.
