Excellent for the price!
Worked really well for brush paintings as well as fluid art... Definitely worth the money as I go through a lot of black. I hope the price stays reasonable as many other brands have almost doubled in price. Why I am very happy to find this! Note... It dries with a more matte finish but not an issue for me. Would recommend!

Very thick acrylic paint
I used this paint for acrylic pouring. It's very thick -heavy bodied, so I thinned it down with water and a medium (flotral) for what I needed. To be honest I did not know what "heavy-bodied) meant. It means the paint is thick but it will last for a while. I also noticed thinning it down some did not change the richness of the color. For the price it's a great buy compared to stores like Michaels, who double the price for almost same product. Five stars for sure. Definitely a buy again.

Poor coverage
This paint is a decent value for the price, but do not expect good coverage. This is student grade at best.

Very very thick!
I prefer the thicker paints because I use the Dutch pour paint method. This Sax heavy body acrylic paint lasts me a lifetime. Also for regular acrylic painting it covers extremely well and dries quickly

Amazon, you are Awesome...
I am using this one item as an example to thank Amazon for their services. Mostly anything I have ordered in the last few years came in good time and worked well. As far as this kind of paint goes, I usually would not consider it to be a medium for beginners; however, as far as acrylic paint goes, this much of it for the price is really great. From what I understood, adding water to acrylic paint is not a common recommendation; the label says that it is okay to do. I diluted the paint with 50% rubbing alcohol for an actual painting, and was impressed [at least partially] with the final result. The thing that impresses me the most about this jug of paint, I can mix 3 fl. oz. of it with 3 fl. oz. of isopropyl alcohol and consider myself to have a whole jar of ink for stylish calligraphy. For the price, that much ink would last even the most insane of writers an 'amount' of time, regardless of how much ink they figured to put on paper. Even if I put aside a jar of ink from it, I plan to use it for 'woodcut-like' paintings or monochromatic presentations. As far as what people use this for; I recommend reading other reviews/questions about it - many people know a great deal these days, in regards to technique and artistic pursuit. This much paint could be used for all kinds of things, from hobby boxes to Christmas ornaments. Thank you, Amazon, for all you do; I cannot imagine how many people in America live a much better life due to the services you have continued to provide; and I look forward to a brighter future as I continue to learn to do business with you better. :)

Good heavy bodied paint
I wish it was a richer, darker black but hard to accomplish when mixing with pouring medium. Maybe a clear gloss (Australian Floetrol, Mod Podge, etc) would give me what I’m looking for. It’s such a heavy bodied paint that when mixed/watered down, it’ll go a long way. Good value. Will buy again.

Best Paint
I tried this for the first time and couldn’t be happier. The reviews were right. Thick paint, only takes a small amount, supreme coverage, super easy cleanup, quick drying and nontoxic. It made my project’s easy. This was done on different surfaces and it worked each time with complete coverage.

Product arrived spilled
The paint itself is fine, but I was upset with the packaging for shipping. There was only a small amount of bubble wrap surrounding the bottle, so it spilled inside the box (see photo). I didn't lose that much paint, but it was a MESS to clean up!

Has a glossy finish
Well worth the money and highly pigmented and concentrated, it has a glossy finish once it is dried. So if looking for a matted i’ll come then I highly suggest you add a polymer to the acrylic.

Good thick paint with great coverage, but…
It’s very thick so if you’re using this for flow art, you’ll need to use it with a thinning medium not water as it doesn’t react properly and gets chunky.
