Keeps out Midges (no see ums) & Mosquitos

FINALLY No midges with the windows open! I live in an area where the "no see ums" are exceptionally small. I've tried 4 different screen materials/brands they did not work. THIS product does what it says: Keeps out small insects. HIGHLY Recommended!

Used As Roll Up Screen Door

We have an odd size door, so couldn't buy something standard. This was the perfect. Didn't have to cut it at all. Used the interior roll tube to weight the bottom, made some ties out of old ribbon to hold it up when not in use and a few velcro straps as the sides for the breeze. It worked perfectly!

This was exactly what I wanted

The backside of my house has 2 outswinging doors. As I live in the South, we don't get to have our doors open as much as I would like. But I love to open the doors, front and back in the morning before the A/C kicks on. Instead of paying an outrageous price for 2 screen doors that would work for outswing exterior doors, I simply used this screening to fit on a tension rod and put in the door opening. It's wide enough to be snug side to side and long enough for a hem at the top for the tension rod. I put weights in the bottom hem to make it hang straight and not blow in when there's a breeze. After the wonderful Autumn season is over, I will just remove the tension rod and screen until needed again. I am really pleased with this solution

Keeps out the bugs

Standard gauge screen wasn't keeping out some smaller mosquitos & bugs where I lived - the area around my table lamp looked like it was an outside street lamp with so many little mosquitos and gnats buzzing around it. When looking up better screen options, I discovered it was easy to DIY to replace your window screens. So far its been keeping them out, but its also been fairly cold lately so I haven't had a chance to really see it in action. Redoing your screens yourself is not hard. All you need is a utility knife/box cutter, spline (a rubber/plastic tubing that holds the screen against the frame) and a spline tool. It takes about 10 minutes. ADFORS has a video walk through of the process. If you have really tiny bugs you want to keep out, try the Adfors Pollen screen, its an even finer mesh.

Excellent screen

I live way out in the woods with lots of bugs this is very much appreciated it's very strong too. I tried to tear some with my hand a very small piece and it was impossible I couldn't do it, very strong. Just get a good spline roller and you'll be okay.

As others have stated, not very fine mesh

Almost imperceptibly smaller apertures than my standard window screen. Great for keeping out extremely small bugs that get through other screens

Great for keeping super small bugs out. Our old screening the tiny bugs were coming right though. (We has tiny tiny white/green flying bugs coming in) Once we changed the screening nothing gets through this. The downside is it’s not as see through and has a sheen so when the bright sun hits it there is tons of glare. Worth it to keep the house bug free.

Great screen, however the price is expensive. It looks good and install was simple with the right tools (sold separately) which is also not convenient. Overall im happy with the results.
