Small footprint, good performance
This dust collector is a good compromise between small footprint, and good flow capacity. It fits in an out-of-the way spot on the opposite side of my car in my shop/garage, and I have plumbed across the shop to a manifold with blast gates. One drop is for a 2 1/2" dust-rite expandable hose which stores in a magnetic rack directly behind my drill press; another is to a 4" port which splits into two 4" port for my router table and table saw; the final is a another is a 4" port attached to a dust rite 3'-21' expandable hose, which also stores on a magnetic rack, and which I can drag to my planer, or my jointer or my bandsaw. This setup translates into a four-way manifold controlled by four blast gates. The Delta dust collector does a decent job of collecting dust and chips from even its furthest distance (about 35'). There are better dust collectors but they are too large, and much more expensive. This one has decent performance, and is one of the few which will fit in the space allowed, and the price is right. I've been giving this product medium to heavy (for a one-man hobbits) use for nearly three years and it still works fine.

20% failure rate
the seams at the bottom are not sealed well or not at all, 2 out of every box have failed.

Delta 50-721 plastic bottom bags and the AP400
The Delta Industrial 50-721 plastic bottom bags do fit the AP400, as indicated on the Delta Industrial website. However, I don't believe they seal as well as they should. I'll probably have to put a thin, soft rubber seal around the edge to get a better seal. They are fairly easy to install if one uses small pieces of masking tape to hold the bag up while installing the band clamp. Note: One notch on the clamp is to tight to allow closing of the clamp and the next notch allows the clamp to close to easily, thus leading me to the conclusion that it's not sealing as well as it should. Update: The soft rubber seal ended up not being a good solution. Instead, I added a 3/4 inch wide strip of painters tape, all the way around where the clamp needs to make a seal, before installing the plastic bag and it seems to be working just fine now.

fits nice.
The bag supplied with this vacuum system was damaged (my dog got to it) and needed to be replaced. The original replacement bags are expensive and can't really be washed when a dog pees on it. I only fill the bag with saw dust every 6 months or so. I could not justify the costs and wanted to keep the dog, After an Amazon search I found these bags. The bags fit the vacuum unit perfectly and the dog does not seem to want to mark them.

Ease of installing
These bags don’t have belt loops that help installing the band to secure them to the dust collector which makes it much harder than it needs to be

Too expensive and no loops
12 bags for 20+ dollars??? Are you kidding me, what a ripoff. But unless there is a different alternative out there, you're stuck. As pointed out, these replacement bags don't have the loops which allowed you to easily put the strap around. The bags that came with my delta dust collector had those loops. Why wouldn't the replacement bags have them? Update: These bags fill up so quick and I absolutely refuse to keep spending this much money on a handful of cheap plastic bags. What I now do is carefull empty the saw dust into a regular black trash bag that costs pennies in comparison and then reuse the old bag. So far I've done it twice with no problems. Just be careful doing it because when its full of sawdust, it's heavy enough where it can rip easily. Put your arms around it and support the bottom.

They catch dust
Using this with the AP400 and just as the other reviewer I am not getting a good seal because the plastic bag is thinner than the stock cloth bag. A couple of layers of masking tape around the seal worked well, getting an air tight seal now. The bags are thick and sturdy and so far have not ripped.

Quality left a lot to be desired
Came with 12 bags... first three blew out at the seal on the bottom so sawdust went all over my shop three times. That was NOT fun
