Better than expected!

I read the reviews and was initially reluctant to get this item as it was purportedly prone to slipping. I installed this prior to a 2 week UTV trip to NM and CO and after having ridden over 500 miles I am very pleased. My seat belt mounting bolt keeps it from slipping down the roll bar so I cant really comment on that part but it doesn't roll around side to side. It is easy to get the extinguisher out, too. Some of our friends have the mounts that require you to pull pins to get the extinguisher out and their pins have locked up. Don't have to worry about this with the Velcro closure.

Finally a F/E holder that fits on my two inch roll bar!!!

I ordered two other fire extinguisher holders that both said that they would fit on a two inch roll bar for my Wolverine. They would not work at all. They were both at least three inches too long. This was going to be my last try before getting a metal bracket. To the ones that say they fit, I say the proof is in the roll bar. I highly recommend Rugged Ridge. It will also fit a 1-1/2 inch roll bar but not anything larger than a 2" bar.

things in the rig can get shaken around pretty violently. After two trips out

I have a full custom roll cage in my Jeep Wrangler that is made of 2" DOM tubing, and this ATV / UTV fire extinguisher holder fit the 2" tubing perfectly. If you have removed the stock 3" tubing from your Jeep and replaced it with 2" tubing, this extinguisher holder utilizes the correct length straps for to put an extinguisher on your cage. My rig is a toy, and as such is typically only driven on weekends and then to, on and from the trail. Since I rock crawl, things in the rig can get shaken around pretty violently. After two trips out, this holder fitted with a Kidde fire extinguisher has held up nicely. I have watched for issues with the unit flopping back and forth as was mentioned in some reviews and have found that is a non existent problem -- it's perfectly stable. Otherwise, the stitching seems robust enough to hold up long term. I typically do not buy Rugged Ridge products, but don't see any issues with this holder. Good product...

This product works!

This product is of high quality and it works on my 2011 Yamaha Rhino. I read reviews that said It will not work on a 1 1/2 inch tubular frame without making modifications but it works on mine without any adjustment. I mounted it horizontally on my roll cage above the driver seat to keep my extinguisher close at hand and I really like it. It’s straps and velcro closures are more than sturdy and it’s a snap to install. I expect to never have to replace it. Highly recommended.

Fits Can Am UTV

Holder seems to be well built. Holds tight on roll bar even bouncing around. Enough adjustment to hold many different size fire extinguishers.

Well made. It works!

Mounted this on a suzuki Samurai roll bar. Fit perfectly.Holds extinguisher. Good quality. Ripped 2 cheap chinese ones. Spend a little extra and get this one. It holds a 2.5lb shorty just fine too.

Does not fit an 04 Wrangler as advertised

The product says it will fit my 04 Wrangler. It sadly does not. If you’re reading this but a different one. I love the red and I think the quality is great; but, now instead of sending it back I’m going to buy double sided Velcro to help make it fit. Somewhat disappointed. Please Amazon change the ad for this product. It does not fit.

easy to use and works well

It doesn't a great job of holding my 2.5lb FE to my Jeep's roll bar around the factory wrap. It does what it is suppose to and the velcro is strong.
