ATTRACTIVE BUT NOT A FAN

I have a pedestal sink and had a plumber install this faucet. EPIC DISASTER. I am not a plumber but I had no idea how much plumbers apparently hate working on pedestal sinks. Wish I had known...Would have left well enough alone. Nothing but problems. This faucet is pretty looking, but there is NO water pressure in comparison to the faucet I had, and wish I never replaced. Also, having plumber come back because oddly enough the hot/cold faucet handles seem reversed. Nothing looks wrong, Looks like everything is correct, but the cold comes out the left and the hot comes out the right. I doubt that has anything to do with the non existent water pressure with faucets open fully and still it's absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointed in this product as well as the whole experience. To those all for this endless lie about going climate friendly, green, water conservation... STOP pushing your insanity on the rest of us! THINK, use your own brains. When the top of the food chain, like for instance these narcissistic energy/climate/virtue signaling frauds tell the rest of us to suck it up, pay more, use less, and force it all upon us, it's not our choice, these frauds create this for the rest of us while exempting themselves from their own ridiculous rules, policies etc... HYPOCRITES and LIARS. To those of you that fall for this bull... good for you, than you enjoy your drizzle showers etc... Does it make sense to stay in the shower 20min or more to rinse your hair from all your shampoo/conditioner? Most normal people can make their own informed decisions, not to run the water while shaving or brushing your teeth etc... Places like NY and CA and I'm sure many more these days, when is enough, enough! Seems it is never ending. Now instead of 2 minutes to wash my hands, it takes 5. Like I said, zero commonsense... Keep buying into this crazy... Keep what you have. Be happy with what you have! We are better off! Normalcy will never return bc these nuts keep pushing... And it's never far enough! KINGSTON BRASS... I'm very unhappy with this faucet!

The KB1605AL is probably a good faucet, but I have no idea.

I would absolutely love to review the Kingston Brass KB1605AL faucet. I mean, that's what I bought. But alas, I can not review the KB1605AL because I was shipped the KB605AL faucet instead. The box was mixed up in the warehouse and less expensive faucet (B0026ZPM50) was subbed for the one I bought. I'd intended to install a faucet today, February 6, 2021, and was crestfallen when I saw the wrong faucet in my smiley face box. But it was the right color, right brand and it fit my sink so I kept it and installed it anyway. As a result, I can't say anything to the quality of the faucet you're actually looking a listing for. I can say, however, that Amazon gave me a credit for the price difference, and the faucet that I actually did get is indicative of Kingston Brass workmanship. They make wonderful, solid lead free faucets of excellent quality - and my non-KB1605AL is no exception. If you have your heart set on getting the beautiful KB1605AL, note that you might get something else. For me, the KB605AL was good enough, but if your heart is set on the style in the listing give yourself a bit of a time buffer for when you plan to install, in case you get the wrong item. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Great with one flaw

We started out buying a single polished nickel faucet for a first floor powder room because I hated the bronze fixture in that room when we purchased this house a few months ago. Like the fixture so much (especially for the price) we ended up replacing 4 more faucets with this same fixture in polished nickel. While installing the very last faucet (ourselves, installation was very easy), we discovered that the hot water knob went just a tiny but further back than the cold in the "off" position... I checked the other faucets and 2 of them contained the same defect. On the same three defective faucets, the defective handle also sits about 2 milimeters lower than the cold water handle. Not a huge issue..especially for the price. Tried disassembling one of the faucets to see if I could simply adjust it, but could not find a way to make any adjustment. If there is a fix, I can't figure it out. Considered returning the defective ones to see if replacements had the same issue but decided it was not worth reinstalling 5 faucets.

Well made and quality brass. Only thing, the spout seems a bit loose. Dos not leak though. But it does swivel.

This old dog learns a new trick

Wasn't too sure I liked the low flow of these faucets. They aren't what I was used to. I had to resist the urge to fix it. Slowly came around to realize that they just need to wash hands, etc. Getting used to the lower flow and now I'm okay with it. Was strange at first - turn one side on all the way, then open the other side all the way and the flow rate doesn't change, Then turn the first valve off... flow rate doesn't change. The handles are very smooth moving. Positive stops on the valves opening and closing. Really liking these new faucets.

Very nice upgrade faucet!

We are very well pleased with this faucet. After replacing the valve gasket 3 times in a year, I’m wondering why I didn’t just go this route in the first place! Good value for a beautiful faucet (that doesn’t leak!) Quite an upgrade for about the same price as a basic bathroom faucet.

Very nice faucet, great price.

Just installed this faucet myself. I'm a 62 year old woman with no plumbing experience. It took about 1/2 hour. I did not have to replace the drain assembly since the finish on the existing drain was also polished nickel and in perfect shape so I saw no reason to mess with it. The instructions were not clear, i.e., there were more parts than instructions! Looked at a couple of youtube videos, which helped. I basically just removed the old faucet and reversed the procedure to put the new one in. It's a very pretty and solid faucet. My only complaint and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that one of the handles does not 'line up'. When the water is turned off one handle is pushed back a little further than the other. Not quite sure how to fix that and don't want to mess around with it too much since everything works and there are no leaks!

Nice looking product, but damaged goods likely from a prior return

The faucets look really nice, but unfortunately all three sets came with the handles disconnected inside the boxes, and as a result beat against other parts of the faucet during their journey to me. They ended up with multiple cosmetic damages. This seems strange because normally the handles are very securely fitted to the faucet assembly as part of normal packaging practices at the manufacturer's plant. Which leads me to believe what I received were returned items from another buyer, and the buyer didn't properly reassemble the parts before they jammed them back in their box. If you have adequate time to handle a return process in case you experience something similar, I would recommend these faucets because they have a really, really good price compared to what I had found elsewhere. But if you end up receiving damaged goods, then you need time to arrange for a return and replacement.

Lovely taps, maybe better not too close to the wall.

These are really good taps, but it's probably a good idea not to put them too close to the wall because if you bother attaching the plug mechanism (which for once, I decide I would!) it comes out at a bit of an angle and it's hard to reach. That being said, you can see how close mine is to the wall and I don't have too many problems. They look good though, they are very smooth to use, and the install isn't bad! Very happy with these! Hopefully, you find this review helpful.
