Long enough to reach sink & Goes with Delta Champagne Bronze faucets

I bought the soap dispenser to go with a Delta Trinsic Champagne Bronze faucet. I made sure it was a little longer than another one I had installed elsewhere. I asked the counter people to drill the hole slightly closer to the sink so the soap would squirt INTO the sink, not just run down the side. And to put the soap dispenser on the opposite side of the faucet handle. (Lessons learned from a different install)

Purchase this with caution

Promising but ultimately, disappointed. I had mine for 2 years and I'm shopping for a replacement now. I'll comment on the 3 issues I've experienced that other reviewers have also mentioned. 1) Included with the packaging is a funnel used to fill the soap bottle. Whenever we used the funnel, the soap would back up and overflow, no matter how slowly we poured down the soap. Our solution, was to skip the funnel altogether. Just pull off the top and the plastic tubing and pour the soap down into the opening relatively slowly. That's it. Go ahead and dump the funnel. 2) Regarding the issue with the top and spout being very loose, this is totally true. It's so loose that it just spins around in place. Our solution was to go down to the local hardware store and find an O-ring that fits just under the collar of the plastic pump. The collar is the widest diameter section of the pump. This tightened it up just enough so that it stays in place and you don't end up pumping soap all over your countertop. Why couldn't Delta spend another 5 cents and add one of these to the package? 3) This last issue could not be fixed. Just a slight bump against the outlet tube when wiping down the countertop and it broke, just like others have reported. There is a rubber tube inside the metal tube so it didn't fall off completely - it hangs there like a broken arm. We picked Delta because we wanted the stainless finish to match our Delta faucet. But now I'll read the reviews more carefully the next time. This pump actually did it's job quite well for a while, so I'll give it 3 stars instead of 2.

No messy drips

I replaced the soap dispenser that came with my kitchen faucet set because this one does not drip at all. Other soap dispensers I have tried were either too short to hang over the sink itself or they would leave behind annoying drips on the edge of the sink. Not this one! The angulation of the spout is perfect - no more mess! I highly recommend this.

Solidly built, much better than the other Deltas

We have been through countless Cassidy or whatever they are called Delta soap dispensers. They are cheaply made plastic handles which break over time (yeah you likely have had one or two). I got sick of replacing them every couple years as I don't have time to call Delta to try and get a replacement part and deal with that and tired of buying them so we went with something not as cheaply made. This has been in use for several months now and its working great. Does not feel like it could snap if you tilted as you pressed down like the others.

The first one I was sent was a defective one someone else returned - Grrrr! Amazon made it right by replacing though.

The first one I received was clearly a defective one that someone else returned. When I opened the Amazon box, the soap dispenser box looked a bit beat up and disheveled. Upon opening the box, the interior packaging was a haphazard mess; the product was just stuffed in the box and the interior packaging was just stuffed in. When I took out the soap dispenser, the dispenser's finish was all pitted with white pits around the base and on the push button. I immediately returned it to Amazon and Amazon made it right by sending me a new one overnight. The new one is fine. I have about three of these now and they look nice, have been durable and work well (as long as you don't get someone else's damaged returned product).

Attractive but the pump top spins around

Positives: The pump top is heavy and a very solid feeling metal. It was easy to install, and I like the IDEA of the funnel that comes with this soap dispenser. It does make it easier to fill with liquid soap. But..... Negatives: The pump top spins. It's loose. It turns too easily. (I'm using synonyms, so someone searching can find these negatives.) So, the spout ends up facing random ways, and it's easy to bump it and move it. I spoke with Delta technical support, and the agent told me that, because of its design (the opening for the funnel) it is supposed to be loose like that. I had thought it was missing a washer. We will probably either return this or swap it for the less expensive SNUG soap dispenser that we have in our laundry room sink.

Good replacement

Current 6 Year Old soap dispenser quit pumping liquid soap. Attempted cleaning without success. This is a good replacement, exact match for original. Now let's see if it lasts 5+ years...

I bought my first unit and had it installed. The pump was not sitting snugly in the housing. It rocked back and forth and the dispenser spun around. I returned that unit and they sent me a replacement. Same thing. The unit does not sit snugly. I will not purchase again. I owned the identical unit for 8 years before the nozzle broke and did not have any issues.
