Hopefully this time my review will meet the "Guidelines" set forth for customers and likewise not be deleted ... This is false advertising, period. For $20, I'd rather go to Wal-Mart and get a REAL bat ... Look at the pictures I've attached and you'll see what I mean. I'm currently in contact with the Seller, who has indeed returned my money, but who has not been in contact with me via e-mail regarding this issue ... time will tell on that, as this is ongoing. As a tool, a weapon, it's great. It's a hard bat .. Okay, well for $20 I can get something A LOT better at Wal-Mart ... seriously. Especially if I put a little effort into it and did some self-modifications. AKA: DO NOT BUY THIS ... get one of the other Truncheons offered. This product is essentially a poorly made (as compared to how it's presented here on Amazon), easily-scuffed, supposedly "wooden" bat that costs TWENTY DOLLARS ... Well, I wanted the bat SHOWN here on Amazon, based upon the visible pictures that the Seller has put up ... In those pictures, the wood looks beautiful, whereas with what I got, I don't even think it's real wood but rather some kind of plastic/polycarbonate-type compound that's been (poorly) tailored to MAYBE look like (fake?) "wood," ... until you touch it? Seriously, look at the deep, rich wood displayed in this advertisement, the web page for this product here on Amazon, and compare what the Seller shows you, to the pictures of what you actually get when you buy it, below ... Please look at the pictures below and comment what you think. This supposed "wood" came in-the-box COVERED in all sorts of nicks, scratches, DENTS, abrasions, etc. Now again, this may LOOK (at first glance) like wood, especially spaced on these pictures, but believe me, I'm looking at it right now ... it's the color of the organge-type of clay used on a baseball field, albeit slightly darker. It looks much worse, the basic aesthetics of the product itself, overall -- it looks awful. It looks like a rubber, organgeish-colored bat. It has a good wrist-handle though. Any experience with knowing what is actually real wood? The surface is obviously profoundly easy to scuff (although I did none of the below, these pictures are how it arrived): It's also kind of soft, hard to describe.
