Excellent Splash Protection
I use this splashguard for my 13-month old son who HATES getting water in his eyes. This works well and does the job its intended to! The only thing I would warn is that it needs to be dried after use to avoid mold or mildew... I would also try to retain the shape in whichever way you store it so that it does not get stretched out. I suggest placing it on a hook or in a bucket to keep it in good working condition! Recommended. I rely heavily on Amazon reviews to select which products I choose to use. Saved bath time!
Overall this splashguard is working well and has really helped make bathtime more enjoyable again. My 2 year old (27 mos) still has anxiety about getting water in her eyes but I can explain that the guard works and keeps the water out of them and she accepts that and holds it well. She does the holding while I use my handheld shower attachment to wet/rinse her hair and actually wash it. My only complaint is that she has to hold it in two very particular places, not with the handle, so that there aren't any gaps for the water to run down. She's pretty good at it now with my help, but it would be great if it really did keep the water out with the handle use.

Works... sort of. Rather large given its target demographic
Both my kids, aged 2 and 3 1/2, HATE having their hair washed. Screams and yells and struggles are par for the course, making the otherwise pleasant bath experience something to be avoided rather than embraced. This is at least the third product I've purchased in hopes of breaking the trauma cycle, and thus far it's only been marginally effective. The problem is that you still need some fairly decent cooperation from the child. The three-year-old is willing - sort of - to cooperate by either holding the guard against his forehead or at least being still while I do it one-handed. The two-year-old won't, and unfortunately it does not fit tightly enough that I can get a seal against a moving toddler's head. It is certainly worth noting that both of my kids have fairly large heads for their age, and yet this thing still feels loose on them, Either that, or I end up pinning the older one's ears underneath, which makes him struggle. All in all, it is far from the magic bullet I was hoping for. We'll continue to use it, and hopefully they'll both settle down and let it do its job.. but until then, we're still having screaming fits at bath time.

Takes patience for kids to get used to it but then it works great!
I tried several things to keep the water out of my son's eyes (he is 22 months old) and nothing worked. He started to hate baths and cried every time he felt water on his head. He refused to tilt his head up so the water would run down the back of his head and instead looked down quickly whenever he felt water, resulting in water in the eyes every time. When I first tried this visor he still cried and moved his head and water still got in his eyes but it was better. I have used it for several weeks now and finally, last night, he seemed to get it. He finally let me use it without crying or suddenly moving his head and presto! No water in the eyes at all, either when I got his head wet or when I rinsed off the soap. He looked surprised about this lack of water in the eyes and happily played in the tub while I got his brother clean. It takes patience, especially the first few times when your kid moves his head suddenly so water gets in his eyes anyway, but eventually it works. Highly recommended! Update: my son is 4 years old now and we still use this for every bath. He hates getting water in his eyes - thankfully this keeps the crying to a minimum. Still recommended!

I think he's cute enough to pull off filthy hair...
This would technically work if my son would wear it (he's 2). If I put it on him outside of the tub he thinks it's great fun, but whenever I try to use it to rinse his hair, he flips his bean. He shoves my hand away, rips it off and scoots as far away as he can. Once he's all slippery with soap suds he's nearly impossible to catch. We've used it on his older cousin to show him how super cool it is and I've even gotten in the tub with him and used it on myself for his benefit (he thought it was hilarious), but he still won't cooperate. Shampoo night is still a nightmare where I'm reduced to forcing him to rinse his hair while he screams his poor little head off. I really wish it worked for us.

No more tears should be there slogan...Clean hair, happy toddler, happy mom! Bathtime is fun again!
Sometimes it's the little things in life That can make a big difference. I have a two half-year-old that was a 1 pound micro-preemie little fighter who is never been scared of anything. He basically has no fear, And a very high pain tolerance which I always attribute to his rough start in life. However the one thing that terrifies him Is when I have to rinse his hair. I would have to spend so much time trying to explain to him to look up at the sky, trying to hold my hand over his four head so the water wouldn't run in his face & scare him. It was so much work and he would get all upset just knowing that water was about to be poured on him. It would just make matters worse because in the end I had no choice but to just dump it on his head best i could without it totally freaking him out just making bathtime end in misery for both of us. And of course making it to where he dreaded having his hair washed. I had no choice but to try this. And it has made bathtime fun again, Works perfectly even with him initially trying to pull it off. Absolutely no water in his face or ears, And once he figured that out he happily holds it on his head while I rinse his hair. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Difficult
As much as I wanted to love this product, it is very hard to use since it does not stay put unless you apply some pressure to hold in place and then rinse with the opposite hand. It makes it more difficult when you have a toddler that moves his head and the product does not stay in place and water gets in your child's eyes.....the one thing you are trying to prevent. I was hoping this would have fit my son's head better so if he moves, it will not come loose or move so easily. Other than that, I really do like the concept.

Brilliant product. Took a few days for her to ...
My baby turned into a very opinionated independent toddler and suddenly refused to have her hair washed and screamed the place down if water got on her face or ears. Thank God for her 'magic hat', as we call it. Brilliant product. Took a few days for her to accept but she now loves it and proudly puts it on herself. As long as she has her magic hat, hair washing is no longer a battle. I thought it was quite expensive for what it is but it is well made and sturdy and most importantly it works well and makes a good seal to protect eyes, ears and faces. Worth every penny for us.

Life saver!
God bless the person that invented this! It has stopped my 2 year old boy from throwing tantrums when the time comes to wash his hair. I tried several rinsers but my son absolutely hated them. Some were uncomfortable or it took too long (about 3 seconds!) to put on his head. This rinser is the best out of all of them. I would suggest that you ensure your child is sitting down when you pour the water and if possible, get them to tilt their head back. If the rinser is not held in place properly, water will pour down your childs face, especially over the ears. Otherwise, its fab.

What a relief no more ill fitting headbands :-)
After 3 years dreading getting his hair washed my son loves it now as he can control holding it where he feels comfortable. No splashes at all and very comfortable! Would fit adult or child as its flexible. Hair washing is now a breeze after trying many kinds of shields this has cured his phobia :-) very pleased indeed!!

This was an excellent idea but didn't work with my daughter at the time as she just didn't like water going anywhere near her. Worked fantastically with my 5 year old son
