Works for adults

My mother has dementia and I have recently started assisting her with bathing. I typically have her sit in a shower chair while I use a handheld shower head. I used this product yesterday for the first time to help when rinsing shampoo out of her hair. It worked like a charm. I kept my left hand on the handle and pressed the visor against her forehead. I am sure that the next bath will be even easier now that we are both used to it.

does the job

it can be tricky getting little ones to hold still to get this on correctly- you want to get the sides behind the ears so no water gets in the ears. and you want to make sure the seal on the forehead is flipped correctly to suction to the head to keep the water from going over their face. my daughter is one so it's reasonable, not sure about when she gets a little older.

Good but kid won’t use

Good idea in theory and worked when I tried it on me. My son won’t use it though. I think if they made a u shape with handle to hold against kid they might not mind as much.

Just what we needed.

My daughter had long hair and hates to get water in her face and ears when bathing. This was the perfect solution to our needs. It doesn’t fit completely snug around the head unless it is angled up right next to the hair line so we have to use a wash cloth around the edges to get the shampoo off the area where this sits. However, overall it is great.

Finally fixed my toddler’s fear of hair washing

Great hat for hair washing and rinsing. My daughter calls it the magic hat and now looks forward to getting her hair washed which was a battle with lots of tears before this. Keeps the water off of her face and out of her ears.

Good for its purpose

I had a neoprene cap for my babies when they were lil & it worked great. This is a bit harder to use, in that it has to be attached at the side & the strap doesn't allow for much growth. My baby grands are 4 now & I don't expect there will be much usage, before they grow out of it, but it did do the job & there were no tears or shampoo in eyes. It's harder to use on long hair

Great product, but does not fit my son's head

I bought this water guard/visor for my 6 year old son with autism. He has sensory issues with water hitting his face, especially during shampooing and rinsing. My son has a pretty big head for a kid his age, he has been wearing adult women's hats since he was 3 and he's almost able to wear adult men's hats...anyway we aren't even close to being able to use the strap to keep the visor on hands free. I would have given it 5 stars if we could use the strap for a hands free experience, but with a wiggly child and having to wash his hair one handed it can be a bit difficult. It still saves on the stress of him screaming anytime water hits his face.

I was hoping for a miracle fix for hair washing ...

I was hoping for a miracle fix for hair washing tears... this was not it. It's awkward to hold in place and the shape does not fit snuggly against my toddlers head. Water drips right through, which defeats the purpose. The plastic is also quite stiff, if it was any more snug to her head it would probably be nearly impossible to get on!

My kids are so happy with this and it makes it so much easier now to wash their head. Only cons and I think it's normal, it's better to be 2 to wash their hairs: one is holding the spashguard right in place and the other one is washing and rinsing the hairs.

esta super bueno

mi hija sufria mucho al bañarse en la regadera o incluso en tina, por que sentia que el agua entraba en su ojo nariz y boca, pero con este fue el santo remedio, ya disfruta la hora del baño con mamá y ya no le hace berrinches del agua.

Resistente

Siempre tenia problemas al bañar a mi hija porque no cerraba los ojos y le caia agua, asi que este accesorio me ayudo muchísimo, es facil de poner y quitar ademas de un material muy resistente
