Good control for supplemental heating
I live in Alaska, my house is centrally heated by 1) heating oil, and 2) a wood burning stove in the living room. The price of oil here has doubled and I get away with keeping my oil furnace thermostat at 45° and burn wood in the living room when I'm home and awake. Come home from work or waking in the morning the temperature around the house is around 50°, but my bedroom gets no cooler than a comfortable 64° thanks to this thermostatically controlled heater. I can get dressed leisurely in the morning and get a fire going in the living room without too much stress thanks to this little guy.

Excellent customer service
Living in an RV in the winter months can get pretty cold, we started out with the Dreo space heater, good enough for a large room, and as the months grew colder we then purchased the wonderful oil heater by dreo. Our camper has stayed warm from top to bottom all the cold winter months. We used it from December until April and sometime in March the heater stopped giving such a hot output, so I emailed dreo and the customer service was phenomenal. Super quick response, asked a few questions, like when did I purchase it/receipt, if I tried troubleshooting it, regardless of my response they were on it and sent a new one right away! Received quickly, it's like we didn't even have a pause in heat. Highly recommend their heaters, for safety reasons and beyond.

Great features, accurate thermostat, quiet, nice looking.
This is the first time I've owned this style of portable heater. I bought it because it's safer than heaters that rely on an electric motor or fan to operate. I love the quiet operation. It has a nice design that's both functional and looks better than other oil filled radiator heaters. The thermaostat seems quite accurate. I love that it has three controllable power settings as well as the eco mode. After attaching the wheels I noticed after rolling the device across the floor just a few feet a couple of the castor wheels kept falling off. I would reattach them and the castor would just fall off again. This is a huge problem because I do move it a few feet out of my way frequently. However I contacted customer service and Hector from Dreo customer support replied right away and stated they would send out a new caster for me to replace. Hopefully they will send two, as there are problems with two of the wheels. Haven't received the new caster yet but going to give this device a full four stars. Had to drop one star because a critical feature to me was the ability to rely on this heater to protect pipes from freezing in an all electric baseboard heated home. My kitchen has no baseboard heater in it and gets colder than the rest of the house. Problem with the Dreo heater is that when/if there is a power interruption, the heater defaults back to the "off" setting. This leaves that area of the house unheated and vulnerable to pipe freeze. I needed to have a heater that returned to the previous setting after a power interruption. Other than that, this product seems very solid and easy to use.

Works very well
I bought two of these to heat my basement when I’m downstairs watching movies or hanging out. It’s about a 18’ ft X 35’ space or so. They get it super toasty down there. I found that if I set it to about 82 it keeps the whole room a comfortable temperature. Mind you that the other half of the basement is not finished yet and is exposed through the rafters so heat travels over there I’m sure. I’m very pleased with the product.

adequate heater
Appears well built, easy to use, remote is a nice feature. A nice sleek design and doesn't take up much room. I live in 300 square feet and will see how it warms my space . There are 2 negatives- 1) the unit gets hot so probably would not want this around a small child or unsteady senior person. I have touched it twice accidentally and it is very hot. ouch! 2) the instructions states to plug it in but nothing else can be in the other part of the outlet. Living in 300 square feet I have only 4 outlets and so with this plugged in and can't use the other part of the outlet--I had to remove my dehumidifier. Those are the negatives that impact me, but if the heater can heat my home then I suppose I will deal with the loss of an outlet for 4 months. Will give an update in a few weeks.

Great product
Recd today Just in time for another cold night .Ive had these before and they work well , This one is great for the price because it has a timer and its very neat looking . I couldn't take the dryness of forced heat and coils, drying my eyes and everything up; These do not do that .. Large room all warm within 1/2 Hour ... now its doing bedroom and connecting bathroom , and I dont feel like my head is exploding . Only negative , its not cool tot he touch and its not good near small kids . But it will def evenly warm your space .

I wish I had purchased this before all others!
I live in an RV and even tho' I am in So Missouri, it can get cold from Dec - March during the early AM hours. I tried 3 or 4 infared heaters, heaters with fans and propane heaters and they just did not have the power to keep the RV warm. My RV is a towable 18BH so smaller that a 5th wheel but still is about 320-340 sqft. The campground owners use an older one of the oil filled heaters in the laundry/shower room and it did not get cold at all this winter so based on that I purchased this one. Best decision I ever made and there is no heating element or fans. Just great quiet comfort!

Disappointing for the price point
Dreo review I paid 220$ for this DREO oil filled heater. In comparison to the top offering in that class by DeLonghi at the regular Amazon price of only 179$ I don't think there is any way looking at the two heaters that you'd think the DREO is the more expensive option. The wheels are finicky and even tho I thought I had them set properly when I took the heater out of the box there were not stable. The heater fell over and smacked into furniture and gave my easily bruisable skin some black and blue to remember it by. Looking at the DREO wheels next to the De'Longhi wheels I can see why it so easily fell over. The heater itself was also easily marked up when it tumbled. Fahrenheit is the only temperature option, with no Celsius consideration for Canadians whatsoever. In fact, when one goes to register the purchase, Canada isn't even an option when selecting the country of purchase. A customer needs to contact customer service for the form to be accurate. This makes me wary about how easily a warranty issue would be addressed. It should be noted that the appliance's cord is thin and is only polarized, not grounded. The cord gets a bit warm if it is running all the time and considering how little heat radiates from the heater when not actively heating it will be running most of the time. The DREO clicks very loudly when the thermostat is tripped, just like the user review video that I saw here on Amazon. I was hoping that the review was for an outlying, wonky unit but the DREO I had did the same thing. If you are neurodivergent and sounds bother you, I'd suggest buying a different another unit. When I finally did get the wheels to sit properly the unit felt far more precarious than the DeLonghi which is a concern with my void constantly zooming about. The buttons on the heater are difficult to press, which in turn reminds one of the unit's instability. There is only one handle space at the back of the unit. The instability is exponentially obvious when one needs to bend down to reduce the risk of the heater tipping over when trying to reposition it even when the wheels are properly engaged. If you are mobility impaired this extra effort is burdensome. In the light of day one can see the button markings but as soon as dusk nears the controls are unreadable. If your plan is to use this in a dark space, take heed. A higher contrast paint will increase the visual accessibility of the device. But the remote is great, so you may not be pressing the buttons on the heater itself. The remote is not one of the very thin remotes that come with many products of late. The button press sound can be turned off with the remote which is fabulous. The remote is intuitive and clear. It's really the best thing about this heater. I'm returning this heater to Amazon. It doesn't have quality I need to in order to trust in such an important appliance. I usually favour the company with the better customer service if all things are equal but I was really disappointed with the quality of this heater. That this is the most expensive heater in this class is mind-boggling. I use a wheelchair so schlepping this to a post office to return it is a huge hassle and safety hazard for me. I would not have purchased this product knowing the issues outlined. I've written this review so that others can have all of this information before their heater purchase and hopefully save themselves some grief.

Nice heater
I like the look of this heater. Very slick. My overall review is 4/5. For the $270 CAD ish price range this retails for, I have no complaints as I got this on Amazon Warehouse at a discount because the box was damaged. The review said the product had cosmetic damage, but I didn’t see any. Win on my end at $70 to buy. The wheels roll nicely. Red on the display is very nice and thoughtful as it does not disrupt circadian rhythm so much like blue or white would. I like everything about it except this: The power cord is on the front. No one in the world other than whoever decided to put it there, wants this in the front. It should be in the back. No debate. I have electrical construction knowledge and will likely just re-engineer this, maybe after my 5 year warranty is up. I’ll let the warranty hold hostage any unauthorized beneficial modifications for now. 2) This product is sold via Amazon Canada, to the Canadian market. But the temperature readings are only available in Fahrenheit. I would prefer there to be a toggle button to switch between F and C. I like an open market as much as the next guy, but the only place I want to see Imperial measurements is on my tape measure. Imperial is superior on a tape measure because of its application of fractions down to a sixteenth of an inch. The rest of the world, outside of USA, generally prefers metric. 3) the physical buttons cannot be pressed without causing the whole unit to move. That means you have to hold the unit with one hand to get the other hand to press into the button. Did the designer consider a risk of burn or that the hand could incidentally touch an uncomfortable hot spot of the heater if changing settings after it is used? This product is designed for comfort. I might recommend locking wheels if keeping the same button design. The unit comes with a remote, batteries included. The remote is comfortable . I don’t find the beep noise when changing settings to be annoying. A person is awake when changing settings. But it might invomvenience a partner still asleep in bed. Therefore the developer might like for no beeps to be default, or a vibrating remote response (that would be a first, no?) or have settings to enable beeps. Blind people may like the beeps, for example. Then again, they probably just use one that has a manual dial. Nice product and nice innovation. The last bit of innovation i would recommend is have the product made in USA, or Canada, or somewhere outside of China, if at all possible. The way things are going, China will eventually stop all trade, imho, so it will benefit companies that adapt independently sooner than later.

Very happy with this heater!
I'm currently using this heater to keep the bedroom warm at night during these subzero temperatures in Ontario, it pretty much has my room feeling like summertime through the night and I sometimes have to turn it down. Some here have been complaining about some noise meaning that the statement that it is silent is false. In my experience it depends on the mode you have it on, so in "Eco Mode" it is constantly adjusting power consumption to maintain heat while minimizing power consumption. In the non-eco modes you don't hear a single thing - it is completely silent. The display at the from in clear and bright in all light conditions, but the chord at the front is odd and is required to be placed like that to feed power to the electronics driving the control logic. Regarding how rapidly heat is felt in a room depends on its size and how cold the room is initially. I have tried it in both large and small rooms and it has not let me down. Very highly recommended.
