Bat Sxxx crazy

My wife thinks I am Bat sXXX crazy for buying this. Its well made though. A metaphor is a comparison without using "like" or "as". So if you would say "Her face turned as red as a tomato" it would be wrong, but you could say "She turned tomato-red" and you would be right. You have to think about your subject, lets say being down on your self and a friend helps lift your spirits. Now you have to mirror that situation to another situation that's the same... You can do this metaphorically by using something like a flower not getting any water and is slowly fading until someone comes by and waters it making it grow strong again. That little paragraph about the flower and the water would be a metaphor for a friend helping a friend. That’s what I am doing here with this review.

Come on bats!

Very happy with this bat house over one I purchased at a local tractor supply store. Just seems better constructed. Installed on the side of my horse barn, which is near a pond. I used extra pieces of wood on the back of the shelter to fit to the barns tin grooves with no empty space behind it. Looks great!

Well made

I live in a damp climate where cedar tends to darkens after awhile, thus I applied a urethane finish. The fixture is well made with quality wherein the best review will ultimately be that a bat approval. Suggestion, for those who also plan to apply some sort of finish, the adhesive from the "Made In America" sticker can be difficult to remove--I sanded it off.

Bat freaks unite!

Can't wait to give this to my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves bats so much! Make sure you let the wood air out in the sun for a few days before you add the bat scent and install it wherever you plan to hang it. Planning to put it in our palm tree in our back yard so the bats can eat the mosquitos that infest our yard every spring and summer from the pond at the park right across the street from our house.

Sturdy and attractive

The unit is just as described and is an attractive addition to our yard. Now if I could just get the bats to visit. Perhaps an open house or a reward for the first bat who inhabits it.

Mosquito problem solved!

Hard to find bat houses! So glad I found them. Live in S Florida tons of mosquitoes and the bats feast on them. You must read up on how and where to hang the houses for max. benefit.

Fun in the Backyard

We purchased the bat house because our grandsons think bats are "cool". They are excellent pollinators and also help to control biting insects - a great way to appreciate Mother Nature!

My husband loves it. Talks about installing often. a year later and he still talks about going outside and setting it up... hasn't... but speaks of its beauty hahaha I have to agree, it's sturdy, good quality and a nice sized bat house. highly recommend
