Fit the panels perfectly and made installation easy.

I was trying to figure out how to mount my 16 100w panels on our cabin roof easily and these were the answer. I was able to put ll my panels on our roof easily and securely.

Very easy to use and solid

I’ve used these on my wood shop roof. One Cat 1 Hurricane and multiple tropical storms later, they’re still solid. Warning. Although the mounting screws have a rubber washer, I would NOT put them directly through roof sheathing alone. Guaranteed leaks in my humble opinion and likely not as solid. I first put down 1x6 PCV boards (stacked 2 high) that I screwed directly into rafters with 3” deck screws, caulked and flex sealed the leading edge. THEN attached these brackets to the PVC boards with screws provided.

Aluminum brackets

Aluminum brackets and mounting hardware included, simple installation.. not very strong.. depends on how panels are to be installed as to weather these are appropriate.

16 brackets to mount four panels - picture shows 8

Used to mount panels on the luggage rack of my camper which worked well. NOTE the picture shows 8 brackets but what was delivered was in fact 16 brackets or enough to mount 4 panels using 4 brackets per panel.

Ok but a few hardware items misding

I’ve purchased these before and was more satisfied with the early versions, but these will suffice. Earlier the brackets were made of thicker material, which is better. My concern is snow load, but I’m expecting these to be ok. A few of the sets were missing one of the nuts…not a big deal. At this price you’d expect a few extras, not less. A bit inconvenient, but Home Depot helped me out.

Excellent Brackets For Installing Solar Panels

Very well thought out brackets made of quality metal. Includes all hardware for installation, No weak parts with the hardware that will need to be replaced down the road. The only downside point I would have liked to see is a few examples of how they actually attached to the solar panels. Yes, I did figure it out but not without making a couple of mistakes.

Does the job

Easy to attach to solar panels via the holes in the back of the aluminum frame. It provides the necessary clearance for the panel from whatever you are attaching it to. Comes with the needed bolts, washers, and nuts to make a secure attachment. Also comes with 8 hex head screws per set of 4 brackets for mounting the panels on a roof or a frame. It was a good purchase.
