Great Blade for Cutting Graphite Golf Shafts
This blade is perfect for shortening graphite golf shafts without damaging the shaft. Make sure you rotate the shaft about 25 degrees after a stroke or two and keep repeating the process. The key is that you cut through the surface material thoroughly before you make your finishing strokes to shorten the shaft. Great shaft, great price and quick delivery so that I could complete my golf club reshafting task.

Not the most durable but did the job.
Used this to cut through the post of a basketball hoop that couldn't be properly disassembled due to rust. Got all the way through an ~3 inch metal pipe, but the blade was heavily worn by the end - I had to flip it part way through because the bare patches were making it hard to cut. That said, I don't know of another way to do that task that's as cheap as this, for a one - time need.

Highly recommended to cut graphite golf shafts!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the blade to cut down some graphite golf shafts. I was able to quickly make clean cuts to 5 graphite shafts. I have tried cutting graphite shafts using a regular hacksaw blade but the shaft will more often than not splinter as you make the final cut. To make the cut, I first wrapped the shaft using blue painters tape and marked the cut point with a sharpie. I then cut the shaft, not using too much pressure and rotated the shaft as it cut through. I would strongly recommend 1. making practice cuts on an old graphite shaft you may have lying around and 2. Make sure you rotate the shaft as you cut. You do not want to cut all the way through as this will increase to possibility of splintering. You want the final cut to be where you are cutting inwards towards the center of the shaft as you can see in my video.

Would be a five star blade but quality is inconsistent.
These are long lasting and fast cutting grit rods. However, I purchased two of them and one had a chunky inconsistent application of the carbide to the rod which made it difficult to use end to end. The second one was far better but still not perfect end to end. I imagine it would be more forgiving on ceramics but I was using it on hardened stainless steel and it would bind. I would probably buy them again because one out of two was really good and even the first one was someone usable in the midsection of the blade stroke .

Need 'em.
Cut through basically anything while not even restricted to straight line cuts. As a rod rather than a blade it cuts in every direction you apply force. It's good to always have a few on hand. (I even keep the old broken ones around as they continue to be useful even when you can only operate them manually (without a handle)).

Rugged and cuts well
Unlike many on the market this saw saw cuts well and shows no ware after use. Great value.
