Extremely comfortable
It's very comfortable and molds to fit your comfort needs. I absolutely love it. Wished it were bigger or available in a bigger size.

Is This Support?
This little pillow is beautifully soft, very comfortable, cozy to the touch. It's a five star for all that, and for winter weather warmth, but a one star in neck support, for me. It is made of finely ground beads of some sort (plastic, one imagines), and this is my issue:There is not enough filling for my purposes. I'd love to keep and use this pillow, and plan to tie a rubber band around the bottom of the pillow case, so as to push all the filling into a smaller area for greater structure and support. We shall see. I have a small sized ladies' head-- not a big, heavy noggin. Yet, the weight of my head crushes the bead particles inside the pillow so that my head lays almost, or often, flat on the bed. I thought I was buying a supportive neck type pillow. I'd buy this again in a flash if the manufacturer could provide more structure to the pillow, and more support to the neck/head.

Not what I expected.
I've been struggling with finding the perfect pillow to help my neck when I sleep. Smaller than I expected, but realized my mistake when I read the description saying 'travel' pillow. That being said I wouldn't take this on a plane to travel, to big and bulky and no way to attach to anything so I didn't have to hold it the entire time. To small for a road trip, I like to snuggle with the pillow if I'm not driving. So it was just eh.

Works well After Stretching it Out for a Few Days
First, I'll start by saying that I think pillow reviews are a sketchy endeavor to begin with because one man's dream pillow is another man's horror - so take this for what it's worth. Me: - medium sized person, tall-ish, not heavy - side/stomach sleeper (sleep on my side with my head and body angled downward, so half on my stomach) - sleep on a very soft mattress so my shoulder sinks in a fair amount - I have issues with neck and shoulder pain At first I thought this pillow was WAY too big and stiff, but after trying 5 other pillows with no luck, I went back to this one because I've had luck with microbead pillows in the past - I used to use the Pinzon Microbead Pillow, but they don't seem to make it anymore. Anyhow, I had to stretch the cover a bit (it's sort of a spandex type material) to get the loft down to a reasonable size, and now I'm quite happy with it - though I do have to stretch and form it a bit each night to make it comfortable. This pillow looks like you should put your head on the little sewn U shape, but I found it to be much more comfortable if I turned it around - so the channel behind the U shape creates a little neck support region (no idea if that made sense or not). I do have to shake the beads to one side and squish it around a bit to get it comfortable (for me that means more of the stuffing behind my head less in front of my face) - but once I find a comfortable position it stays that way and doesn't go flat or shift around. It is definitely much smaller than a standard pillow - swims in a standard sized pillow case, but I haven't noticed any offensive smells. I do get a bit of ear pain with this pillow, but not nearly as bad as everything else I've tried, and now that it's stretched out a bit, I'm FINALLY able to sleep with no neck or shoulder pain. So that's my experience - YMMV. Just as an aside - if your pillow search is anywhere near as onerous as mine was, you have my utmost sympathy - it just totally sucks to be exhausted and in pain all the time. My advice is, once you find something that works, buy several of them - whether it's this pillow or another!

Updated...Just getting acquainted with my new pillow and....
Update 2018...So I've used the pillow over the last 2 years, not exclusively but pretty often and what I discovered, is for me, turning the pillow UPSIDE DOWN was a better position for my head and neck to be on. Instead of using it in the position where the middle stitching is shaped to the head, I flipped it over because I just found it annoyed my neck and base of skull But when I used it the other way. Flipping it over seemed to have a little more give and support. However, since it's been a couple of years, the entire pillow has stretched out and appears the middle section beads as opposed to the sides which have retained most of their plumpness, is now flat, For me, I need the middle so the sides just sort of help cradle my head in that position. I will occasionally go to my sides now that they are less plump than they use to be so it doesn't over elevate my head from that position but overall, I can't really use the pillow anymore due to a lack support in the middle. And it looks like the sides are separate chambers from the middle, and you can't really push the beads inward. The other thing... not having a pillow case made of the same stretchy fabric is a bummer so when it became dirty it was unsightly and I threw it into a cold wash delicate wash. It looked better, but still looks dingy. My Initial review: technically I haven't had a full night sleep on this yet so I will come back and update it when I do. However, I've been lying down on it for about 30 mins today and so far it's alright. I need a pillow that supports my neck but isn't puffed up too high. This one is still a bit too rigid and I'm hoping that the fabric and beads start to give a little more as the days go by. I have to sleep on my back for the most part but also sometimes I go to my sides. I've used smaller micro bead pillows that help me cradle my neck so that I can lay straight and flat or tilt my head from side to side with the support still staying in place. It seems like it's really hard to find a pillow that has all of these features or over time they stretch out and flatten.

White Microbead Pillow
I love the micro bead pillows. They conform to any body part you wish (head, neck, knees, ankles). The pillow is washable and very durable. I had to get one for my grandson because he loves to use mine when he visits.
