Have not used yet. Just got it on 3/13/23
I bought this item because I needed a pillow that was 1." This one said it was 1 1/4", but it is not close to that size. It is closer to 3-4 1/2". I have a very BIG problem with sleeping an needed a pillow that was either latex or memory foam. So the hunt gone on. What ever I but can NOT be more than 1" to 1 1/2 " in the middle of the pillow. i may have to buy FOAM an it will have to be 1" thick. I would rather have the memory foam of latex. This PILLOW is a giant waste of money for me.

comfy, cooler than most pillows
I use a sleeping wedge and need a supportive pillow atop it vertically, rather than horizontally. This pillow provides support to head and torso when positioned that way, but is too narrow to support shoulders and holds the head just a tad too high (too firm). So - it's ALMOST a win. The pillow does not absorb and hold body heat as quickly as most. Still needs to be flipped a few times through a night. In summary: comfy, coolER than most, no smell after washing cover while pillow aired a couple of days, rather expensive, but I'd be totally cool with the pillow if it were made also as a large square, at least 23" x 23". (The king size is narrower than the standard, not an option for me.)

Not enough height for side sleepers, neck was a little sore, but seemed well made
I really wanted this to be the right pillow for me but it's simply not high enough for side sleepers, although it worked for sleeping on my back (I constantly switch back and forth between side and back). I felt what arrived looked flatter than the advertising photos, even several days after opening it. I did enjoy the feeling of the supportive foam vs poly fill, but be aware this pillow is way heavier than you are likely used to, but not too heavy to still shift around in the middle of the night, it's around 5lbs. The pillow is a uniform thickness because it's a block of foam (vs poly fill or shredded memory foam which result in oval shaped pillows), which I had never experienced before and I ended up finding awkward to sleep on because there is no lead up to the full height of the pillow... as you are essentially sleeping on a rectangle which my neck wasn't thrilled about. The smell really was not a problem and I have a very sensitive nose, I took it out of it's liner for 24 hrs before using it to air it out and it was fine to sleep on after that point, and by 3 days later you couldn't really smell any lingering order. I like the concept of their foam sandwich technology, I just think the developers decided to reduce the height/thickness in order to keep the weight at around 5lbs which is just not enough height for a side sleeper and I consider myself a small to average sized person at 130lb and 5'7," so if your a larger side sleeper I think you will find this product way too flat. I tried using a 1inch lifter pillow under and then over it, but that didn't work for me... I really think they just needed a 3rd layer on each side of a much softer foam to give it more height. I personally have no issues with memory foam being warm and found this pillow no warmer than a shredded memory foam or poly fill.

Almost returned…
I got the tempur cloud pillows last year and was obsessed, recommending them to my clients (I’m a massage therapist). Then, only 6 months later, the unthinkable happened—it went flat! Not completely flat, but the Uber responsive support was no longer there. Decided to try this casper foam. At first it was very hard, and I was about to return, but having had to wait a few days to get around to it, found it had softened up quite a bit. Still lacks the responsiveness of the tempur material but a good medium height and softness to make up for the support lacking in the tempur cloud.

Not super impressed
After about a month the pillow just crinkled and won’t go back to its normal shape. It’s stuck and bundles inside from me sleeping on my side. I moved the pillow around at night as I change sleep positions and in the midst of it the pillows insides just crinkled up and won’t flat back out. It only ended up lasting me about three months. I wish it would have lasted longer with it being a bit expensive

It's a pillow
I had to return as it wasn't as low as expected. It's actually about the same height as most pillows. Firmer than expected compared to the original casper

Awesome!
FINALLY! After buying countless pillows with great reviews only to send them back because they didn't live up to the hype. This pillow for me is amazing. Great support but not to firm. I'm sleeping better and the neck pain is gone. This is a MUST buy!

Support plus comfort equals better sleep
Upon unsealing I let the pillow regain its form for 24hrs. Thankfully not an overpowering odor and the pillow itself has some heft to it. The outer cover ( which zips off for cleaning) is well made and can prevent your pillow covers from slipping. The first night I found the pillow a bit too firm but that feeling gradually subsided as the week progressed. It was noticeable when doing morning stretchs that the old kinks and knots in my neck and shoulders gradually dissipated . Will recommend to family and friends. Thanks

It's very firm
Good quality, but way too firm for most people, barely any give. Would be worth the price only if it was the most comfortable pillow I've ever laid my head on

Not my kind of pillow but it’s nice.
This pillow is too high for me. I find that my head doesn’t sink in, it sits on top and it kinda wobbles. It is a nice big, soft pillow but not for me.

Disclaimer: I am a back sleeper
If you’re a back sleeper, this pillow is definitely not the one for you. If you’re sleeping on your side, it’s okay, but it is a rock-hard pillow with no give. So, if you flip onto your back in your sleep, prepare to awaken with a stiff and crooked neck. It might be suitable as a cushion, though!
