Good set.

Bought as a gift for heavy books. Very durable. Actually look nice. Hard to find solid bookends like this. Not overly expensive given their durability. My family member was impressed with the look of them and their functionality and durability. I am really happy with these bookends.

Very sturdy

Love it. Bought another brand of bookends before this and that one did not hold much. This set is tall and heavy. It holds my 40ish books without a problem. I think it can hold even more.

Very strong

I purchased these for my cutting boards which are quite heavy. They are holding 6 cutting boards and no sliding or anything. Great product.

Sturdy Bookend that will not Bend

If you want a strong, solid bookend that also looks nice, this is for you. It is larger than many so check the dimensions before you buy. This is exactly what I needed to make sure some books high on a shelf do not fall on someones head.

A sturdy metal bookend that made to outlast the bookshelves and books they support

Really solidly made, not particularly lightweight but I was not looking for the lightweight. I use it to prop very large format magazines, which these do wonderfully! Highly recommend. Hope this helps. Cheers!

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my son. He is a Journeyman in the Teamsters, he has big heavy manuals on his desk. These worked perfectly holding them up and in place. The other men wanted a set.

Super heavy-duty, scratch resistant, and great styled bookends. I'm sold on them!

6/5 Stars! These bookends are heavenly. I searched far and wide for minimalist but not industrial looking bookends. What I wanted were ones that blend in, but if they do happen to be seen they have some style to them. I never knew there would be so many terrible designs to wade through! In addition to looking for a specific style, I was also looking for something very heavy duty / sturdy to keep books from hurling themselves high off of some floating shelves. I was sick of one book in particular starting to get ruined from high diving and the adjacent walls also taking collateral damage. Since some of my books are really heavy, the bookends themselves had to be tough. This set of bookends is perfect. I tested them out with a huge stack of heavy books and the ends didn't budge or bend. Even better, they have a nice foam backing on the bottom protecting the wood of my shelves from being scratched. They don't slide around either. The best part of all about them is that even though they're sturdy, they're very thin. When you stick books on them, there isn't a gap underneath them making it obvious that there's something holding the books up. The bookend are 6.5" each in width. On one of my top shelves, I have just two books on top of one of these bookends. The two books together are less than 6.5" but since I have the bookend pushed back a bit on the shelf, you can't see part of the empty bookend sticking out. You don't even know that the bookend is there unless you view it from the side (see pictures of side and front angles). Let me say that after seeing these in person, I wouldn't mind using them in other places where they could be seen. I have used these to hold up my Jim Kay Deluxe Illustrated Harry Potter Book collection. Each book is over 15x12" (huge).. I put the bookend between two of the books and you'd never even know it was there, but it helps to hold the books up (before I put the end in between the books they were leaning and I was really worried). The bookend and the books haven't moved an inch in almost a year, and they are over 8 pounds each... this one bookend is holding up almost 35 pounds of books. Whew!!! The packaging was good. Surprisingly, there was tissue paper between the bookends to keep them from scratching against each other and rubbing off finishing. They were wire-tied together and came in perfect condition. The only negative I found was the price. Ended up costing almost $9 for each bookend. I wondered if I was crazy spending that much on ends that people won't even see? But considering that I won't have books committing leap of faith jumps anymore, I've made peace with the cost. I definitely will buy these again.

Perfect for holding my vinyl records upright!

I built myself a nice wall-mount shelf open cabinet for my vinyl albums, and some books. I really wanted full flexibility inside, so these large bookends a just what the doctor ordered. Delivery was 2 1/2 weeks late, but customer service took care of it. It's not just about price, good customer service is even more important to me. Got them delivered today. Thank you very much. A+

Sturdy and Stable

Used to store and display record albums. Very good size for record storage, and quite sturdy due to a much heavier grade of metal, used in its construction, compared to smaller lightweight bookends.

Simple and effective.

My minimalist husband was looking for some decent bookends, and I found these. They're GREAT. They've been able to hold all of the university textbooks he refuses to get rid of. They hold really well at the bottom, so no slip. I wish they came in a shorter size for smaller books, but even still, because they're so minimal, they don't look too bad. Worth it!

Habíamos probado unos de Amazon Basics y estaban muy endebles. Estos son sumamente firmes. Eso si, están grandes, pero aguantan libros pesados Adicionalmente, su base antiderrapante los hace muy seguros.
