Easy to assemble and great latching
One minor quibble and the rest I love. And note, this is new. If the latching becomes problematic over time I will update. I bought two of these and based on my experience I am buying a third to replace a different model from another vendor that has a cranky latch. The packing was great. One box was damaged but everything inside was fine. Reading the instructions makes it seem more complicated, but you simply bolt the two main parts together at the bottom. Install the swinging gate by putting a pin in the bottom and inserting a loose pin into a hole at the top. Now either insert one or both extenders into the side, they just push on. With or without the extenders, insert the adjustment screws, they do not thread in. Place the unit in the area to be gated and start turning the middle plastic knob to force the adjustment screws out longer. Keep turning both sides, top and bottom until snug. Tighten the bottom pretty tight. If there is an uneven molding, you can lift it up a little. Adjust the top screws until the latch tongue is mostly inserted into the opening. That is it. Now peel off the warning sticker that says the gap is intentional. Say a thanks to the company for making the adhesive not too sticky as it peels right off cleanly. Now for the baby warning sticker, I guess they do not want you to remove it, perhaps for liability? I decided though it looks crap, I am leaving it on. It would take too long for me to remove all the adhesive and paper bits. As to the person who in the review mentioned it only opens one way. Nope! There are turnable locks on the bottom of the swinging gate that can stop the door from swinging through either way. If both locks are turned up, the door swings both ways. I find this to be a great feature as on one gate, I want it to swing both ways, the other gate I used one of the locks to limit the travel. So very happy. It feels solid and looks nice in my house. And now the rescue dogs will stay away from certain parts of the home.

Nice Looking and Secure
We just remodeled our family room / kitchen and this gate looks great in the new area. We have a 4 month old lab puppy, an older lab and 2 young cats. The gate is very secure at keeping the puppy where he needs to stay for now. We bought the 37" high gate as he is growing quickly. The height is a little tall for the cats to jump, as they are allowed anywhere in the house. A possible alternative would be to offer one of the extensions with a small door / opening for cats. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Otherwise, we love this!

Great, For a Puppy Gate But With One Minor Problem That I Hope To Resolve
I bought this for our new Maltese puppies. They are engaged in crate training right now, but I wanted them to get some more freedom when needed in a place where I didn't have to worry about what they were chewing on. The weather has been d as well. And I hope they will continue to get used to the paper training. This gate was pretty easy to set up after reading the instructions. I slid it into the bathroom door. And then I set my 2 Maltese puppies on the other side of the gate and watched them explore their new territory. Everything was just perfect until the first one slipped her head and then her body through the gate bars, and then the second one followed her lead. So I think the gate will hold them once they get to be a larger size. In the meantime, I plan to hook some netting over the gate bars to prevent them from getting through for now, and they will still be able to see us.

Better than expected
We adopted a cat who is refusing to get along with our other cats. He's a senior and has been bounced around, so a pet gate was the best solution for him as returning him would be cruel. (He is spoiled and thriving btw). So about the gate: It is tall. A young cat could jump it but an older cat probably won't. The bars are not wide enough for our chonky fur-kids to pass through, but a very svelte kitty or small kitten could. The widest space between the bars is 2½". It can be mounted either way, but the door must be set up to swing in only one direction. To open, you need to press the button AND slide the handle at the top, but it isn't hard to do. Those with serious hand issues might find it a little difficult, but it's not too bad. I do wish it had only a single motion open option. The door does not close automatically, but a gentle push closes it securely. You do not need to press the buttons at top for it to close and lock. The walk-through space is narrow when opened. Clearance is 16" so it can be limiting if one is disabled, large boned, or carrying household items like a laundry basket. The screws to mount were too long and we had to cut them. Make sure you measure, cut them too short and it won't mount securely. Only 3 stars for that part. Overall, it is a sturdy, well made gate and is serving us quite nicely.

Great gate! Very nice looking.
Fairly good quality and easy to put together. Works perfectly in a 30-inch doorway. It keeps the pups from getting into a room I am renovating, but still allows me easy access to come and go. Why only 4 stars? Because it took more time trying to get all of those silly stickers off the gate than it did to build the gate itself! What is with these stickers!?

Exactly as promised
Depots sturdy and thicker than our previous old white one. I didn’t measure the top of the stairway so it was either too big with the extenders or two small with only one or none. But worked great in the doorway. Will definitely be buying more.

Good gate but needed some "MacGyvering" (old TV series) to obtain a solid fit
Just received and installed. Good looking gate. Good latch. My opening is 38 inches wide. With both extra panels the gate fit but the adjustment bolt & rubber foot would not fit even with the adjustment bolt set at the minimum. I did not want to eliminate a side panel for the sake of needing less than an inch more and without one side panel there was too much open space and the gate no longer felt as solid or secure. Also the bolts were now too long and allowed for too much movement. I cut the bolts shorter to allow the bolts & foot to adjust more & gate to fit. I would must prefer the bolts to thread right into the frame or panel - still leaves enough room for the extra panel "pin" and would be a much easier and strong design.

Crap product - look for something different
What a piece of junk. When trying to tighten the gate to either side of the hallway if you tighten it to stop making it wobble - the mechanism becomes impossible to open and close the gate. In order to keep enough of a space for the mechanism to work properly, the flimsy bolts on either side become quite unstable and wobbly. If a dog or toddler pushed or fell into the gate, the entire thing would slide right down the stairs. If you're looking for a more secure gate, look for one that you need to lift, and then drop/click into its locking mechanism as opposed to this one. Thankfully Amazon refunded me for my purchase.

KEEPING THE DOGS OUT
We bought this to keep our dogs out of the entry way as they like to jump all over people and scratch the door. This gate has been a life saver so far. Very durable and have held up to my 2 German Shepherds, so far the only barrier that has been able to do so. I like that it screws right into the wall which is what we had to do because of the dogs weight when jumping up. The pass through gate works great, you just have to adjust the ends of the gates if it's not opening and closing smoothly. The part of the gate that has the wood....it looks nice, but we personally could have done without as the dogs have scratched that area and it shows....but a nice touch if you were looking for that sort of thing. I would definitely buy another if necessary and definitely recommend.

Both gates we ordered came cracked, extremely poor quality
We received 3 of the same baby gate in Feb 2021 as I put them on my baby registry from Amazon. We didn't open them until this week as our daughter started walking. 2 of the 3 have a huge crack in it. I want others to be aware that Regalo makes very poorly built baby gates and are cautious of the quality, safety, and esthetics of their products. Their customer service was very prompt however, offered no support as this was :out of the purchase window". The value of my two gates are close to $200 and I had no reason to open the gate before my baby was walking as it was more convenient to store. I would never recommend this company for any of their baby products.

Muy buena puerta, me ha funcionado con mi perro
Me gustó el diseño de la puerta, la madera y el metal están muy bonitos y se sienten resistentes. Fue bastante fácil de instalar cuando organicé todas las piezas y veía las fotos del manual. Lo mejor de esta puerta es que es bastante alta, y puede ser bastante ancha también por las extensiones que incluye, pero hasta cierto punto. Usé la puerta con una extensión para la entrada de mi casa, pero no pude usar la puerta con las dos extensiones en el pasillo de la entrada donde el espacio es más amplio, hubiera necesitado quizás dos extensiones adicionales. Entonces asegúrense de tomar muy bien las medidas. Al final aunque no me es 100% práctica le estoy dando uso y me ha gustado mucho. Es muy fácil abrir y cerrar, tienes que presionar el botón y deslizar el seguro. Ha sido imposible para mi perro hasta el momento "hackear" el sistema, siempre me aseguro de que todo este bien presionado y la puerta asegurada para evitar accidentes. No instalé los tornillos, tengo la puerta a presión y mi perro mediano sí ha intentado empujarla pero sigue estable por el momento. Como son barras, no hay mucha manera de que empuje como si fuera una puerta, no tiene muy bien de donde apoyarse porque las barras son delgadas. Pero puede buscar la manera en algún momento de rebeldía, entonces si en sus casas pueden instalar los tornillos háganlo, es lo más práctico. La puerta es alta, y no tiene ningún huequito por donde entrar, entonces me ha funcionado muy bien para lo que la necesitaba, la recomiendo para mascotas especialistas en escaparse y que les gusta saltar todo obstáculo que encuentren.
