Installed on My Pickup
I put this on the step bumper of my 1990 F150. It took some doing (drilling, filing, grinding), but I am very pleased with the results. I had to modify the rubber step pad to accommodate the bolt heads. BUT the whole installation was way easier than putting a full size frame-attach receiver on there. PLUS, it sets back the ball back 6 or 8 inches which gives a tighter maximum backing angle for my trailers. Its class 2, which will haul my utility trailer and my boat. I'm giving it a 4 because the instructions should come with a paper or cardboard hole pattern drilling template, but doesn't, and using the actual hitch for a template is awkward. You need to know how mark, pin punch and drill metal to install this, and I used the spacers on my installation to avoid the curved outer lip of my bumper.

Not tow bad
I bought this so I could add a Reese hitch on my truck instead of a bumper hitch. It’s more for a real basic step bumper like on an old Ford pickup or something. Since my truck is newer I had to do some modifications. The product came quickly and it was affordable and it is heavy duty. I think it’s going to work great.

Works good
Used it on a John Deere lawn mower, so it was a custom install. Seems sturdy and does the job. Decent value for the money.

Does not fit Ranger/mazda b series
Bought this for my 96 mazda b2300, which is basically a Ranger. It is too wide for this particular bumper. The mounting holes come dangerously close to the edges of the bumpers, i wouldnt trust it. This however is a vehicle specific problem, works fine on wider bumpers I had some doubts about just bolting a hitch to the bumper instead of installing it to the frame but it's rated higher than both the bumper itself and the truck's towing capacity. It went on really easy on my friends truck and works great for light towing. Definitely worth it for the 16.99$ i paid for it

If you do not have the means to drill it to fit you had better pass it up unless you have someone who will ...
I was gonna make this for my older S10 Blazer when I seen these already made. Its well constructed and mine was an open box sale but the hitch was new and priced cheaper than my time to do the cutting and welding to make. I plan on in the future to make a custom 4x4 rear bumper and will use this on it as well. You will need to drill holes in your bumper to mount this tho. If you do not have the means to drill it to fit you had better pass it up unless you have someone who will do it for you. FYI it is best to go ahead and buy grade 8 bolts to be safe. If it breaks loose you could murder an innocent bistandard.

Reese Towpower Step Bumper Receiver
I purchased this receiver for use with my Yamaha golf cart at the campground. My golf cart did not have the flip seat which converted to a platform. I mounted the Reese receiver on the diamond plate foot rest on the rear so that I could install a trailer hitch for pulling the waste tank to the dump station. My additional purpose was to connect a mesh cargo carrier to the golf cart which I purchased for my Chevy Blazer. It was slightly wider than the cart but extemely handy to transport coolers and other beach gear. Finally, the receiver had the correct dimenstions to connect it to a mesh lawn wagon. It functioned extemely well going forward, but did need to be disconnected when backing due to its short tongue length. The Reese product was superior in being both rugged and heavy duty. I was a relief to find that it came with complete installation directions and all necessary hardware.

step bumper
I have no clue way they call it a step bumper but what ever. I bought this product to mount/weld to a front round tub bumber that i bad. It comes with bolt but i dont end using them because i welded it to the bumper. I know that i wont be towing with it so i wont be able to test it to the limits but what i am going to be using it for is a reciver so i can put a winch on the front of my jeep and pull it off put it in the back if i need to. The product is a little under rated but for what i need i think that it will work. I would recommend this to anybody that would be using it for a place to put a winch. I wouldn't recommend it for towing a trailer and that is because of it low rating (Lbs)

Perfect for the zero turn mower
This fit perfectly on my Gravely ZT HD-52 for using a 12V ATV broadcast spreader. Four 1/2" holes needed to be progressively carefully drilled, and the hitch bolted right on.

The answer to your towing needs
economical alternative to a tow receiver bar, especially when towing light trailers, will not exhaust your budget, installs in minutes to most rear step bumpers (you can even use in the front), sturdy, welds are perfect, universal fit, way to go for sure.
