works if you get the right installation

This has no control for a pressure switch, and only has a few knock outs. It's the wrong control for my application of a residential well.

Exact replacement for my 1 1/2 HP Franklin

My old unit kept tripping the circuit breaker. The new Red Lion control box (almost identical to Franklin) fixed the problem in no time. The knockouts were slightly different than the 2010 Franklin 1 1/2 HP control panel. Everything else was the exact same. I'll need to get a reducing washer to finish the install. However, we have water now!

Easy Install, Excellent Performance!

Product overall is a great value for the money. Experienced multiple shipping delays leaving me without running water for 2 extra days, but that is no fault of the product or manufacturer. Product was well made, easy install, and had the same dimensions as my previous 15 year old control box!

Ordered this Box with the red lion Pump Inside the Box it looks exactly like the Franklin Control Box like it came right off the same assembly line ..... Franklin, in my experience, is the best there is ..

Works like a champ!

Works like a champ! We had an issue with our previous start capacitor on our control box. The pump would turn on and go to 55psi then it would cut off and the psi would go to 0. We could not just replace the capacitor because, for some reason, the overload was tied directly to the start capacitor. We read and read and read about the different boxes but were very confused on what to buy. For the Red Lion there are multiple power options listed and the picture in the reviews is for a smaller power than ours, 1.5 HP, so we were concerned with only one capacitor in the picture. So we rolled the dice and ordered the box. When we received it, we were very glad to see that there is a start and run capacitor in the box, so if you are concerned about that, the 1.5hp has two capacitors.
