Great vest

Great construction, somewhat limited fit on some thinner dogs

I like the design of this. It is a little too heavy for the Southwest, mostly, although my trim and fit 24-lb cocker spaniel has a back injury and I've used it to warm him in the house when he's not feeling well. It is basically the right length, but is really a bit too big around for him, even with his deep chest for a cocker. The velcro leaves a big batch of material hanging off the end of the center strap to be reasonably snug. I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with fastening it in the front, as it seems to be a little too prone to want his head further down and forward. Maybe that's just my inexperience with fastening it. However, it's well constructed, and provides a close model if I have time to put a slightly modified version together myself. It will come in handy in the winter when I have to clip my dog; he's always chilly then. I'll likely add a little more velcro near the end of the center strap to make it sit better.

Perfect warmth for a small dog, excellent fit

This coat has such a wonderful closure. It's difficult to describe, but it's very easy to fasten; the velcro is also very sturdy and doesn't get stuck to other things. The amount of warmth it offers is just right for unseasonably cold Houston winters (25-35 degrees F). It's extremely nice quality for a dog coat; I wish I had purchased it sooner. It is also very colorfast after machine washes, and air dries very quickly. I bought one for each of my Chihuahua mixes; based on coat sizing and measurements, they both wear size 12; they are both larger than standard Chihuahuas. The slightly smaller dog got one of the coats in the Red Tartan and he likely needs a custom 11 (not an option, though) as he is just a tad shorter in height than the other dog: I think a 10 would be too snug for him. It would be interesting to see if the 10 works better for him, but we're happy with the sizing.

Warm and toasty!

This little fleece keeps my best friend so warm and comfy in the cold winter weather. It's soft and plush and fits just right. The fleece is thick and soft and really is SO warm. My dog loves it. Its a good length ( neck to tail) - my dog , although small, is quite long and this jacket is perfect for him. It fastens with velcro on the underside of the neck and under the torso. Easy to get on and off because it does not go over the dog's head. - they just step into it. The faux Burberry pattern has fooled a lot of people who think its the real deal. Highly reccommend.

Nice jacket but not for super cold days.

This jacket is so hip! I deducted a star because I really wish that the larger sizes had the continuous material that goes from the belly to the chest like the smaller sizes do. My hound has sparse hair in that area so I had to get a second jacket with full coverage for super cold days. I almost returned this but it just looks so good on my boy! I bought a size 22 for my 54 pound coonhound and it fits great. It is a little short on his back but that’s what happens to tall skinny beings.

The media could not be loaded. Olive is 40 pounds of beautiful pit bull lovin' & measures 23" in girth. The size 18 fits her perfectly when the Velcro is positioned to make the coat it's smallest. The coat is well made and moves well with the body. It'll be great for spring or fall but if it's below, say, 40 degrees F, I will probably put this over her Thundershirt for extra warmth.The color matches the photo perfectly. The opening for the leash is great and keeps her collar from moving around while she's walking. We can also use her harness over the coat. It's very easy to put on and take off and my husband and I are both pleased with it.

Fits my 40lb broad-chested dog great - well designed and warm!

Great design. Easy to put on, and actually stays put even when she runs around and wrestles with her big brother. She’s 40 lbs but has a huge chest circumference which makes it hard to find coats that fit well. She’s got a 27” chest, 15” neck, 19” length. Size 18 is perfect. It’s also stylish and warm. Liked it so much I bought another one in a different color.

I like this jacket so much that I have purchased three and rotate them.

The jacket fits her perfectly. It is thick and so it is truly warm, and she really needs that in winter. She will wear it for extended. Which tells me that it's comfortable. And everywhere that I take her, most recently to a veterinary emergency room, people comment on her jacket in positive ways. Also it launders well. I find it best to close all the velcro closures properly before putting it in the laundry and then I hang it to dry. I highly recommend this and to be honest this purchase was my third one of this exact same jacket.

Love the pink, not a fan of the dye that ran from the black into the white stripes

I had another colour in this exact same jacket for my little Chi mix and the white stripes were so bright, actually 2 of the same in different colours, both with the bright white stripes (red and blue) but I wanted the pink, and I the white stripes looked green. Clearly the dye ran from the black stripes into the white to give it that colouring. Super disappointed given that this isn't a cheap jacket. Not sure why RC Pets would do this. Love their products overall, but they could do a better job with the quality control. Aside from that, it is a warm jacket.. I have the larger one that was bought for my rescue dog when she was pregnant, and it was fantastic and kept her warm in the winter time. I do like that it covers the chest unlike other jackets.. Overall decent.

Beau manteau

L’ajustement est parfait et le fait de ne pas avoir à passer le manteau par-dessus la tête est un plus. Le manteau fait autant à mon fox terrier qu’à mon schnauzer miniature

Bought this to replace the same one we’ve had for 10 years as it was starting to look a little worn, but not too bad at all. Great quality!
