Cute, but definitely 'costume' quality stuff
I couldn't resist this costume for my 2 yr old son; he attempts to golf with any strait object he gets his hands on. Reading other reviews, I was definitely concerned about the size/fit. My son just turned 2, weighs 30 lbs, and generally wears 2T size clothes. As other reviews said this runs small, I went with the 3T/4T for him. The shirt and shoe covers are fine. The hat is so tight it looks like a skull cap - hilarious looking, but not the intended look at all. The pants have attached stockings. The stockings don't have much give, and while there is plenty of length in the foot, the leg /ankle area is so tight it makes them difficult to put on. I think, by either cutting off the extra at the toes or by bunching it up in my sons shoes, it will be fine. Definitely glad I went with the 3T/4T size. I love the look of this costume, but I wish I had lower expectations. It was covered in loose strings and full of scratchy seams. I hope it will not be too uncomfortable for my son. The stuffed club set that comes with the costume is soft, and the loose club was so bent it barely resembled a golf club. Negatives aside, I think this is a cute costume. With some steaming to remove the wrinkles, a lint remover for the strings, and something to reinforce the little golf club (I could just use one that we already have), I think this costume is a winner. For around $25, I think it is a decent buy.

Perfect for Golf Pics.
My husband loves to golf. I didn't say he was good. Lol He just loves the sport. Anyway, he wanted golf pics. of he and our son for our son's first birthday. So, I ordered this outfit specifically his birthday pics. and only to be worn once. I bought the 18-24 month size. At the time these pics. were taken my son weighed 25 lbs. and was 29 in. tall. He's chunky. It fit him great with some room to spare. I did not use the hat or soft clubs that came with the oufit for the pics. I'm not a professional photographer, but I'm happy with how the pics. turned out. More importantly, they had fun taking the pics. I completely recommend the outfit.

Based on the reviews I went up a size and bought 18-24mths and glad I did. my son wore this when he was 14 months, average size and height. the top fit perfect and the pants fit but had very little room in the feet as the footed legging is attached to the shorts. I guess if you order wrong size you can always cut the feet off the legging. I would highly recommend this outfit. super cute and got lots of compliments. We pushed him around on his little tikes handle car and attached the golf bag to the back (like a golf cart would do) because there is no way a 14 mth old is going to carry this back. They should make a backpack version so it is attached to the costume. The hat fit great but son hated it so we couldn't even get him to wear it at all.

The costume was freaking adorable. My son at the time was really lanky so it was a great fit for him. I believe he was about 1.5 at the time that we bought this. The socks that are attached to the shorts are really stupid and tight. It was hard to get my son's foot in there. I ended up cutting holes on the toes and pushed his whole foot out of it. The hat was adorable, the actual vest was cute too. The clubs were ridiculously pointless. I think only one of them actually came out and the other was sewn into the bag.

this outfit is soooooooo cute! my baby is 7 months old, approx 18.5 lbs and it fits him. the green stockings you can pull up, so though it is long on him, it still looks fine. the pom pom on the hat has fringes that fall off everywhere, so be careful if you child is young so that s/he doesn't eat the fallen fringes. one of the golf clubs was bent and therefore wouldn't stand up straight. i fixed that by simply safety pinning the bent one to one that was standing upright. The shoes don't have bottoms, hence you can see the green stocking through the shoe bottom, so for my son who is not yet standing, that makes the photos look a little less polished - would have been nicer if the velcro shoes had bottoms. overall, however, i think the outfit is absolutely adorable!

Really adorable
I gave it to my 2 year old grandson because we are a family of golfers and it made a great birthday gift. Hopefully he can still fit in it for Halloween!
