Adorable outfit, but beware...super tight sleeves!

This is a very cute and well made costume! Love it for his first Halloween! I chose the Small size for my 10 month old. He is just over 20 pounds and around 27 inches tall. The fit is very good, not too big and just right on the length. Even the hat/beard fit well on him. My main complaint on the size is the sleeves are way too slim. I had a very hard time getting his chubby hands through the sleeves since I couldn't fit my fingers in there to help pull his arm through. There was a lot of angry crying at this point. The costume is all one piece and you put it on the child by unbuttoning the pant area and slipping it over the head. There's a zipper at the top to let the head through and the neck velcros closed. It is comprised of two layers, the outer soft layer and a liner which kind of feels like polyester. Really like that the two layers provide enough protection to wear on a cold autumn night, but I recommend putting your baby in a short sleeve onesie to protect his skin. The costume is not meant to be washed, but we did put it into the dryer on the steam cycle to kind of freshen it up. We threw in the costume and the hat/beard. A note here...the steam cycle softened up the liner in the hat so it got a little floppy. Still worked once he wore it, but it doesn't have the perfect conical point anymore. Biggest CON: The sleeves are too darn slim. To aggravate the situation even more, the liner is only attached to the outer layer at the hands and feet. This meant that the liner moved a lot when I was pulling my baby's hands through. When I finally was able to get his hand all the way through after struggling for over 5 minutes on just one hand, about 4 inches of liner protruded out of the sleeve. To solve this, I had to hold the end of the sleeve, reach inside and tug the liner back. This is not an easy thing with a squirmy angry baby who is hot because we had been trying to put his costume on for a while. To try and help solve this problem, I sewed the liner to the outer layer at a few points around the shoulder area to try and keep it in place. Haven't tried it out yet, but I might help! Overall, even with this huge pain in the butt over the sleeves, it still is a very cute outfit. Everyone thought he was the most adorable baby in it.

Adorable costume but my adorable baby was too big. Nice quality, highly recommended for smaller babies.

Cute Despite Tight Sleeves

This costume was adorable, everyone who saw my baby in this had a good laugh. I got a size medium, and it fit okay on my big 10 month old (23 pounds, 30in tall). He refused to wear the beard, but would tolerate the hat and it was still cute enough without the beard. The body and legs were roomy, but the sleeves were ridiculously small, we had to use a bit of force to get his hands through the ends and he didn't like that at all. Another issue was the white lining inside the top half of the body piece -- it made finding the already-too-small arm holes more difficult, and made the costume almost too warm to wear indoors (luckily we weren't planning on wearing it more than an hour or so each time), but I imagine it would make it great for wearing it in very cold weather. Quality seems okay, but there were a few seams already coming undone on the body piece at the shoulders after only wearing it twice and not washing it. In the end it was a good purchase, I just wish the fit had been better.

ADORABLE!!!!!

I like the facts that there are only a few pieces to this costume as that means less things for baby to pull off lol! We have only tried the head piece on my son and it fit great! You can see in the picture he is having a good time. Had a good laugh or two in the mirror. You can also see that the head piece varies slightly from the packaging which isn’t a huge deal but it isn’t as advertised (see the eyebrows and the ears. Other then that it is a solid costume and I can’t wait to put him in the entire suit. Will add that after Halloween. I’m very happy with my purchase.

So stinkin cute

This was soooo adorable and my son got so many compliments. He was wearing a size 18 month, so I ordered the 24 month size just to make sure it wouldn't be too small. It was definitely big on him, but not so much that he couldn't walk in it. My only complaint is that I noticed a rash scattered all over his body after he wore the costume for an hour. I don't know if it was the material or the fact that it was making him sweat...or a combination of both. I would recommend this costume, but I would definitely get a long sleeved body suit for them to wear under the costume and make sure they don't get too warm in it. Also good luck with them keeping the head piece on!

Well worth every penny

I don't normally write reviews but I must say how pleased I am with this cute costume. It's one full piece with a zipper up the back and crotchet snaps for easy changing. It's lined as well so it should be warmer as we live in canada and will probably expect 2 feet of snow by halloween. The boots are made of material so I plan on just putting him in black boots. I bought a medium which fits my 16 month toddler well with a couple layers on underneath. He is currently in between a 12-18 month Carter's size. Shipping was super fast. Even to canada. Got it in less than a week. The only downfall which I expected is that he hates the hat and the beard on his face, which I fully expected but no fault to the company. We will just have to get used to wearing it. The beard is velcroed on and easily removable. For the money....hands down the cutest costume I've found

My son looked adorable in this! I have a couple small complaints- the beard is attached by velcro on the inside of the ears, my son's head was a little large for the hat and we couldn't have him wear the beard because of how it connects, it covered his mouth. There should be a larger piece of velcro or multiple pieces so you can adjust the beard. Also it's too easy for little ones to pull right off, so maybe elastic instead of velcro would be better. The outfit is all one piece so kind of hard to get on, a top and bottoms would be easier. Seems to be great quality though! Seriously though, this costume is so cute and my son looked adorable. We were a gnome family and a big hit!

The Costume was Great. Super cute. It did not come with the booties which was disappointing but we went with rubber boots instead.

costume da nano da giardino

Il costume è simpaticissimo, l'ho preso per mio figlio di 13 mesi e indossato è perfetto. L'abito è comodissimo e caldo, è un unico pezzo...ha i bottoncini per facilitare il cambio del pannolino come le normali tutine. La barba è attaccata al cappello con il velcro per cui se dopo un pò si stancano di tenerla si può tranquillamente staccare. La spedizione è stata rapida e la consegna puntuale!
