Thinner than wrapping paper

I absolutely LOVE this paper! I specifically bought it to wrap Christmas gifts and it worked so well, I'm using it to wrap gifts year round. First of all, the roll is HUGE. It's gonna last me forever. That alone is worth the price. But then it's also 100% opaque so you can't see what's wrapped inside, it's not obnoxiously thick so it's easy to work with, it stays taped shut unlike thicker black paper, AND it's durable. One side is darker and more matte than the other (the product description above explains why) and the matte side is the side I use on the outside when wrapping. I know you're thinking, black paper for gifts? YES! It's surprisingly versatile! I highly recommend it!

Bought for a craft project
Seems to be just what I need. I'm not certain how durable the paper is yet, as I have not used it. I plan to update this review after I give it a try. ???? I did like the value for my money, because it is a very large roll of paper. Should last us quite a while.

Excellent product for wrapping gifts.
The quality and texture of the BLACK kraft paper is exactly the same as the butcher paper we use on the exam table in a medical office, except that paper is white. No one seems to be able to explain this. It is NOT thick craft paper nor fibrous. Works excellent for wrapping gifts which is why I purchased the product. It is 100% black out, meaning there is no way you can see what is wrapped in the paper with a single layer. It comes on a plastic roll in the center which can be mounted and in it's own sturdy cardboard box for storage. Hope this helps.

Good but thin
I purchased this product to use as seamless photographic backdrop paper for small item product photography. It is not a great fit for that use, as it is is a bit too thin/flimsy. Based on the weight/thickness specified in the product description I expected this paper to be slightly but noticeably thicker/heavier that standard copier paper, but it feels a bit thinner to me. It wrinkles much more easily than I expected too. Next time I'll get something with a heavier weight. Other than the mismatch with my expectations/needs, which is my fault, the product seems to be fine.

Works as chalk paper & table runner
We used this paper for table runners at my son's graduation party. We cut it in half length wise and laid it on top of black and white disposable table covers. Then we put chalk out on the tables so guests could write messages or doodle while they were eating. It worked perfectly and we had lots of compliments!

I used this to cover tables for a graduation party. I bought black masking tape to tape it down underneath the tables. It looked great & held up well. We supplied chalk and Prisma colored pencils for those interested in coloring on it. Worked great!
