It's a lunch sack

Paper sacks! Have you heard of them? Why they are brilliant! If you don't have a paper sack, why then you're missing out on some of the finer things in life. And let me tell you, this paper sack is exactly what it says it is - a paper sack! Why, it's whole stack of sacks! These are standard "lunch sack" sized. Which I suppose dates me and now you know I'm old, because who uses lunch sacks? Heck, I'm old but so modern that I'm not actually using these for lunch. Now that you can't get plastic bags at grocery stores any longer, I have nothing to line my bathroom/bedroom waste baskets with. Enter the paper lunch sack. Works well enough, and fits my small cylindrical bins with a fold down of the top of the sack. Not sure I'd put 6 pounds of anything and expect these to hold though. But they work just fine for discarded tissues, floss, and the usual bathroom detritus.

Great price and quantity, used for sons' lunch

I use this item for my sons' lunches. I usually put hotdogs in there and have my sons hold the paper instead of the hotdogs when eating (to avoid germs / dirty hands while eating) Now oftentimes it's their grandma who packs their lunch. She trims the these paper bags though. So I guess it's too long for her. My observation is that this paper bag seems pretty thin and flimsy - rips apart easily. So if you intend to puts lots of things in there and heavy it may rip. Other than that I'm pretty happy with it and the price. With 500 qty it'll be awhile before I need to order.

Just paper bags

Good paper bags, we use them all the time for pastries. Although I have to say that some bags are hard to open on the end of it but otherwise good.

Satisfied with these bags.

These bags are a bit thinner than I expected, but that is not a problem. I am satisfied with the bags. The packaging was torn when they arrived, but the contents were undamaged.

Perfectly useful!

Seems funny to leave a review for brown paper bags, but here it is. Like others on here, I originally bought these bags for scooping the cat box, and since these come in a big bundle of 500 I am all set for well over a year! They are also useful for giving away stuff from your garden, or really any other application where you want to get away from plastic bags. The paper is not super durable, but it does the job. I hope Amazon never stops selling these.

These bags have a fatal flaw...

I wanted to love this bag. I bought them for my niece to use to pack her boys' lunches. She likes to send juice boxes,fruit and other heavy items for their lunches and so I selected a sturdy, well-built bag. Initially, I was pleased with the strength of these paper bags. But my niece has told me that the long seam on almost every bag was not sealed correctly and so gapes open when placing items in it. I'm very disappointed in the quality - not of the product itself, but of the finishing work on it! Thus, the low rating.

Good for standard use

Will fit a lot of cat litter box debris but when things are soggy, it will leak through and tear.

talk about bagging a bargain

My church does lunches for school kids that are sent to school without a lunch, and many of them have not breakfast... anyway we use these bags and they work great, I'm ordering 2 more cases right now!!!

Work well

I bought these for marketing garlic. They are a bit light for packaging 3 to 5 pounds, but at this price, I could double bag and still be happy with them.

Wish they were thicker

Wish they were a little thicker, will tear at the top of my product is a bit wide, but over all they do the job. They arrived way quicker than expected!

too thin

Trying to go green and eliminate plastic garbage bags. This was the closest size to my garbage and green bin, but are a bit too small and too thin.
