Has been a good tool for organizing garage space
This stand, while it feels flimsy, has been a welcome addition to my garage. I always use the straps because the bikes feel like they could fall. But never have. Glad the arms are coated with a softish material to not scratch the paint. Overall I’m happy with this item.

Rack good, customer service lacking
While the overall construction and installation of the RAD cycle stand was easy, it was hampered by the lack of threaded inserts in one end of the adjustable track. There was no means by which the upper support could be attached. I contacted customer service on July 16, 2022, with the following message: Upper extension slider (N) is missing both threaded inserts. There is nothing to tighten Machine Screws (F) into. and received an email stating the following: Thanks for contacting us for your needs. Our customer service team works Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 7:00pm eastern standard time (Closed on Weekends and Holidays) Every inquiry is important to us and is answered in the order they are received. Thanks for your business and we will get back to you soon. Sincerely, Customer Service Team As of today, August 21, 2022, I’ve yet to receive further correspondence, and I’ve missed the Amazon return window. Fortunately, though searching elsewhere for the necessary hardware, at a REASONABLE ADDITIONAL expense, has yielded nothing, I’ve been able to fabricate my own hardware, and I am using the rack. Four stars for the product, zero stars for the seller/ customer service.

Feels slightly flimsy but works great and very cost-effective
This isn't industrial or commercial quality by any means, but this stand is really inexpensive and fairly well designed. I can see other people having a difficult time setting it up, I got frustrated at one point but now that it's up I'm pretty happy with my purchase. If it were more expensive I think I would feel less than enthused, but I think I got a lot for my money. The stand looks great with its anodized extruded aluminum pieces and works perfectly.

Great rack for the price
The rack was fairly straight forward to assemble if you are fairly mechanically inclined. The top plate is plastic instead of aluminum as listed in the product description. I’m using it to store a Thule car top carrier on my enclosed balcony.

Great Product - Vertical Bike Storage Possible
I bought this same bike rack YEARS ago. Not sure if it was the same company as now, but I really liked it then and I love it now. I had been searching for years for good vertical bike storage solutions as I don't have room anywhere for a horizontal storage option. Saw one other reviewer said they used it this way so I gave it a shot. SO HAPPY I DID! My one suggestion: don't assemble while listening to music or especially wearing headphones!! I did this and didn't hear the drywall in my ceiling crunching under the torque when I tightened it for the final tighten. It's ultimately ok as there is a support beam under it, so it just put a crack and indent in the ceiling, but if you didn't have a support beam or stud under that pressure, I imagine it would push right through the ceiling. It's definitely going to be a project to fix that someday, but I own my home and plan on this being here for a long time. If you rent though, or are trying different spots out for it, that damage to the ceiling could be significant! Apart from that, which is no reflection on the product, just my not realizing that could be an outcome of tightening it so strongly, the product is great. Looks sharp, does what it is meant to. And all you folks looking for ways to store vertically...this is it! I saw a post where the customer set up the hooks for the tire. I didn't feel like that was safe for my bike, as it was near impossible to get the hanging brackets set to a point where it wouldn't strain the spokes. So I put mine lower to grab the back frame bar. I feel much better doing this as that is a much stronger contact point, it isn't pulling on a front tire/fork or tweaking/potentially breaking spokes. Also as the back tire is locked into the frame, unlike the front tire, it's not going to twist as you lift it or as it's resting there. Good luck!

Fairly sturdy - giant pain in the ass to install
First off, the rack functions like it should and is relatively sturdy. However, this rack was one of the most difficult things to put together that I've ever encountered - and I consider myself to be a fairly handy person. There were three main issues that make assembly a nightmare. 1) the screws are practically the exact length they need to be *after tightening*, and since you have to have things *loosely* screwed together to slide the parts together, you have to delicately balance tiny parts screwed in just enough not to fall off, but no tighter. 2) Even when screws were as loose as possible, things did not slide easily. And by that, I mean that I literally had to use a hammer to get pieces to slide together. Pro tip: if you don't already have a rubber mallet, get one before putting together this monstrosity. And 3) the little arms that hold the bikes are covered in rubber to prevent damage. Cool, right? not so cool when the thickness of the rubber isn't taken into account when determining screw length. The only way to get one of the arms on was to scrape the rubber coating off of part of the arm with a knife. I ended up only getting one arm to even slide on, so my bike is hanging vertically (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). On the plus side, this makes me less nervous that the arm will suddenly slip down and my bike will crash (because again, I had to use a hammer to get the damn thing to slide in). Overall it took me an hour and a half and much cursing to get the rod into place and one arm on.

Base thin and didn’t last 5 months
The media could not be loaded. Not even 1 year has past and just placing my bike on it the whole unit and two bikes fell on me. Not sure if base was cracked or started cracking and finally did but it’s made of thin hard plastic.

Instructions are horrible
The instructions are just big block of texts with small pictures that don’t really say much. Please add a video on how to assemble this or at least improve the instructions with better images.

Does not like too heavy
Once you figure out how to put pieces together, it's easy to assemble, relatively easy to install. However, even though the stand is rated for 200 pounds, I believe that it's much better suited for lighter bikes (especially if you want to put two there. I have a 50 pound electric mountain bike and can't imagine that once I buy one for my wife as well that the stand will like it. Even with just my bike, I had to put a strap in the middle of the stand to attach it to the adjucent wall because the stand otherwise was banding dengerously towards the side of the bike. With my little invention, though, it seems to be working fine. Also, be aware that you have to know the exact position of your ceiling joists because the stand holds there just by friction and you don't want to break the ceiling drywall.

Perfect for the underground parking garage!
Since I can't mount anything to the floor or ceiling in the common area of my parking garage, this product fit the bill perfectly. It's lightweight and easy to assemble and set up. It is sturdy enough to carry two bikes and compact enough to put at the back of my stall with ample room for the car. It would take serious effort to dislodge it once it's set in place. With the bikes locked to it, I doubt they would try.

Great Bike Stand
I read a couple of bad reviews on this bike storage stand, but I had no such negative experiences. It was very easy to set up, and I keep both of my chromaly bikes on this thing (I use one bike every day now and just put it back on this stand at the end of each day). This storage stand does its job and keeps my bikes out of the way...and when I compare what I paid for this to others out there I think this was an excellent deal.

Used rack, missing parts.
I was under the impression that I was buying a new rack, but upon opening it I realized that it was used. It had fur all over the parts, one slider was stuck in a part, two smaller sliders had rust on the inside and were difficult to screw on, the brackets were bent, one pad was missing as was one of the star washers, and another was deformed and unusable. Still managed to put it together, as both of us are quite handy, but still, I should have gotten new product, as it was not specified it was used.

Wow!!
Massively impressed with its quality and installation instructions. However, during reduced temperature and windy weather it fell down. Whilst it did not cause any damage, it would be wise to stress the importance of using proper securing on its upper pad.
