Bought for marathon training, hard to drink out of
I purchased this for marathon training. It is definitely the perfect size for long runs over 2 hours. The pack stays in place and is light and comfortable. The pockets are nice, but the "phone pocket" does not fit my iPhone13 with an otterbox defender case on it so I have to put the phone is the water pocket on the front. It fits great there but it is not convenient to take the phone in and out during a run, so I highly recommend testing out the size of the phone pocket with your phone prior to purchasing. I can get past this, but the real issue for me is how hard it is to drink out of the bite value. The water does not freely out with a simple bite, you also have to use it like a straw while biting and it is still doesn't come out fast. I sipped it every mile during my 15 mile run yesterday and still only consumed 500mL the whole run because of the difficulty getting the water out. Not sure if this is normal for other bite values?? But this is very disappointing to me and makes me wish I just tired a less expensive pack that has better phone storage for my phone and hopefully an easier to use bite valve. I removed the tags before discovering these issues, otherwise I would return and try something different. Overall, it's not horrible, just not as helpful I thought it would be especially for the price.

Great for running
I bought this for longer training runs and marathons. I prefer not having to stop for hydration and to have more control over what I drink especially during a race. I am 5' 10" 180lbs and find the backpack very comfortable. Plenty of adjustment. Plenty of room for nutrition like gel packs, etc in the front pockets. To date I've used it for several long training runs and a half marathon. Very good purchase. I recommended it.

Perfect for me
Recommended by a friend, this was a good model for me, stays snug up higher on back then other models that go lower. Water slosh sound isn’t back at all and I would notice (I usually get 18 miles in with bag half full). Front pockets hold fuel and phone easily. Works well for me. I even put it in the washer on cold after long runs and let it air dry and it’s still going.

Doesn't stay put
Stained easily after first use, liquid is slow to come out, pack shifts back even when properly secured. Expensive for what it is.

Comfortable Pack for Hiking. Distributes the Weight of the Water.
BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this hydration pack. 2. It is a bit overpriced at ~$70. 3. I'm no longer a runner, but I like distributed water weight on hikes, because I carry a lot of stuff. LIKES: - Very comfortable. - Water bite value is great. - Well made. - 1.5 liter bladder is a decent amount of water space, but I wish it were more. DISLIKES: - Not crazy about the large logo. - Not enough pockets. I would prefer a few more zippered compartments that will lay flat if I'm not using them. I'm not running marathons though, so I can see why they kept it minimal. UPDATES: None at this time. I will update this review with any changes or important additions should any arise.

It gets the job done and I'd recommend it
This works for me. I'm planning on using it while in a costume that's not very easy to take off. I gave it a test run on a long bike ride and it's pretty nice. My only issue is that I'm very sensitive to tastes and it did make my water taste a little funny at first.

Great lightweight hydration pack.
This is a decent hydration pack. It has a dedicated compartment for the bladder with a small compartment that can be used to hold other small items. This secondary compartment is not large, but could hold a notebook, map, or small book. The bladder has a 1.5 L capacity while the pack has a total capacity of 3L. This pack is primarily to carry the water. The shoulder straps are thin with a mesh lining. One strap has a 6 ½” zippered pocket that can hold a pair of glasses although the zipper only has a 4” opening. The other strap has a double open pocket with one having an elastic drawstring closure. There are double adjustable chest straps to hold the pack on. The water tube can be threaded to either side of the pack depending upon the preference of the wearer. The bladder has a wide mouth opening for filling (about the size of a Nalgene bottle mouth) with a tethered screw on lid. There are two Velcro straps that thread through slots on the top of the bladder to hold it in place and keeps it from falling to the bottom of the pack. The pack is lightweight enough that the only weight you’ll feel is that of the water (and whatever you put in the secondary compartment).

Excellent quality! Tight fitting, a little hard to adjust.
I am blown away by the quality of this water bladder backpack. Everything is made to last and designed very conscientiously. It’s super nice there a waterproof pocket on the left shoulder strap… although it’s a little too small for my cell phone. They fabrics and padding are great for running, and used exactly where they should be, I’m very happy with it! The only real negative that I have is that it’s a real bigger to adjust because you’ve got six (6!) straps to adjust around your body, which is as little daunting, but once it’s done its done! I definitely recommend this water bladder backpack!
