Great find
I got this for my upcoming trip to Yellowstone and to go fishing. I really wanted to give this pack a chance. It had all the features I was looking for. Pro- light weight, has plenty of room, lots of lash points. Cons- I don’t like the hard plastic backing that protrudes farther down and jabs you in the back. Wish it has more internal pockets. I read from another reviewer that if you take the foam out and separate it from the plastic hard piece It will fit better. There is a velcro access point, and yes It was difficult to take out. Once I did this the pack fit better and no more back jab. It also made the bag lighter.

Almost perfect
What I like: The exterior side pockets are massive! They fit my 32 oz Nalgene bottles with room to spare. The littlest pocket has a clip for keys AND a little pocket for the keys to go into once clipped in. That way they’re not scratching your phone. I love that it comes with a 2.5L reservoir. The reservoir is easy to use and take apart and clean. I love that it’s bigger than your average daypack. I hike with kids so I hike with a lot of stuff. My big kids have their own packs so I don’t need to carry their snacks and water, but I carry things for my littlest. I carry her change of clothes (for the inevitable fall into whatever water we’re hiking near), water, and snacks. It’s got room for all her things and my things and extra things on top of that. It’s comfy. I’ve hiked many, many miles with this pack. And most of those miles have been in 100 degree heat. The pack is comfy and doesn’t make me too hot. What I don’t like: There are no small pockets for organizing. There’s a giant storage area, side pockets for water bottles or a rolled up jacket, the little pocket on top for phone, keys, and small things. And that’s it. I wish there were pockets to organize your things. I’ve been putting my things in ziplocks or luggage cubes, but it’s not my favorite. If there’s something at the bottom of the pack that I need I have to unpack the bulk of the pack to get to it. When the reservoir is full it’s REALLY hard to get it in the pack and then REALLY hard to clip it in place. Not impossible, but nearly. If it’s a little less than full it’s a lot easier. If you carry water in the side pockets I have to take the pack off to get the bottle out. *edit* I just discovered that my bottles fit through the side access opening so I don’t have to take the pack off to get to the bottle!! I wish that the waist belt had a little pocket on it to carry my phone. The chest clip doesn’t have a whistle. Overall I like this pack. I don’t know if I’d buy it again, mostly because it doesn’t have organizational pockets. The other things I don’t like about it aren’t dealbreakers. Since I’ve got it I’ll keep it. And I’ll like it. And it’s well made so it’ll last a very long time!

Great daypack!
This is a great hamster bag! I needed something a little bigger than the hydration pack I had been using and this is perfect. I can fill the water bladder entirely and still carry a packed lunch, bug spray, sun screen, snacks, first aid, and small necessities. It could use some internal organization pockets, but I just use baggies to organize things. Do be sure to fill the bladder and put it in the bag before adding other things. The way the side pockets are made threw me off at first, but the side access to the pockets is just the right angle to reach without taking the pack off. It’s also big enough to fit my iPhone 11 with otter box into for easy access, but still out of the way. The water bladder it comes with is exceptional, also. No plastic taste at all (which as someone who doesn’t drink out of plastic normally, is a big deal - it’s enjoyable to drink out of instead of trying to just get past the bad taste of other bladders). The magnetic bite valve holder is also fantastic! I used to tuck my bite valve under my chest clip to keep it out of the way, but this is a much easier set up. The structure of the bag keeps it off my back allowing air flow, keeping me cool. I’m 5’6” 145lbs and find this bag really comfortable for hiking and I can imagine for zoo trips and other outings when Covid is less of a concern.

Mostly good
Good bag, like the trekking pole loops. Easy to slide trekking pole up while walking. Don’t need to take off pick or even stop walking! It’s nice to have access to the hydration reservoir from outside without having to open pack. I do have two complaints. It’s hard to get to items when the top smaller bag is filled. It is a huge obstacle to get things in and out. Makes me not even want yo use the smaller bag. Also wish it had a catch all pocket in the front. And where the zipper tappers in makes the pack narrows in the middle. Like the color though, and size is good for a day hike.

Just get it!
I put off getting this backpack for a while because of the price, but bought it right before a big hiking trip and it was worth it. I'm a bit heavy (200 lb, 5'7") and both the chest and stomach straps fit around me just fine - something other backpacks have failed at. The water lasted me through a rough 13 mile hike.

Best Backpack for Intense Hiking
I bought this backpack to take to Las Vegas and then to Zion National Park. It was light and comfortable to carry, it holds a surprising amount of items and the water bladder was a game changer at Zion. I honestly would not have been able to hike all the way to Angels Landing without this pack. Forever my favorite Hiking Pack!

Great fit and size.
This is the first hydration pack I've owned. Fit great. Very comfortable. I love the size. Took it on a 6 hour hike up a mountain with rain gear packed. Was able to carry everything and not feel heavy.

More separation of pack supplies
I like the size of the pack, but I wish the large portion had some separate sections for the stuff I don’t use very often. It would be nice to keep things more organized. Other than that, it’s a great pack!
