There Is a Risk of the Top Not Shutting
The main reason I bought this combined mailbox and parcel drop was to increase mailbox volume capacity beyond that of the box I was hoping to replace (11 x 13.5 x 3.5). We needed to be able to leave the house for a few days or a week and allow the mail and most parcel’s to accumulate in the mailbox without chance of overflow during our absence. This new box certainly had the exterior dimensions (13.5 x 20 x 9.5 inches) to give us that increase. But when the mailbox arrived, I noticed that the interior door (which closes off access to the storage area when the top of the box is opened) took up most of the increase in mailbox size when the door swing area is considered. The interior door had to be able to swing down by a space equal to the back-to-front depth of the box (9.5 inches). This meant that the required door swing space reduced the potentially usable storage volume provided by the mailbox's 20-inch height by 9-10 inches for door swing space. This is in addition to the space needed at the top of the box for temporarily holding articles until they are dropped by closing the top. Only 3 or four inches is then left at the bottom for storage. So, I tested what would happen if I were gone for a week and over that time the post office delivers three packages, each 8in x 5in x 2in in size (and no other mail). The first two packages fell to the bottom without a problem. However, the third package dropped but also blocked the interior door, causing the connected top opening cover to stick wide open. Without a key, the postal carrier would then neither be able to fully open or fully close the top cover, leaving it wide open to the elements. Rain, irrigation water, etc. could then enter through the large opening in the top and soak the items already in the box. This is not a tolerable risk I could take while on a trip. Now I am stuck with a mailbox that I had much hope for, ending up one that I can't risk using at all.

Damaged....
The box is fairly secure for what it is in the cost. It will definitely hold some decent size smaller packages. Box came in on time but with damage to the lid. Have no mailbox to keep in its place to get a replacement so I guess I just have to keep it.

Great sturdy box
Great sturdy box, generous size. It came with a set of concrete anchors but I wall mounted it to the right of the garage door of my home and the depth isn't visible from the street as an over-sized box. The only thing I can foresee is that if a large rigid package is dropped in, it will block the rigid security flap from the lid lifting for the next mail delivery as it is all one solid piece with the lid. With delivery tracking evolved as it has, this shouldn't be an issue. I would buy this again and recommend it.

It is just what I needed.
I am disabled and live in an apartment where the mail boxes are on the street. It is very difficult for me to get to them. So, the postal delivery person would take all my mail back to the post office because my box was full. With my request and a letter from my doctor my mail is now delivered to my apartment and put in this box. It holds bigger packages than I thought it would. I received five large prescription bottles and they fit fine.

Got it for COIVD Drop off
Love it we got it for our Drop off at our office. We are an accounting office and needed a good Drop off box for people to use during COVID. We are leaving it up all year round now. Great. Love it

No more undelivered/returned packages
The drop box is very sturdy and weather resistance since I live in Malaysia and our weather is hot and humid. Torrential rains too. It can fit most of my packages, the largest one was 4 inches/10cm in thickness and about 10inches/25cm long. Saves me time driving to the postal office picking up non delivered packages.

Perfect small package mailbox
Arrived almost a week early and well packaged. Good strong construction and works very well for letters and small packages. Just the right size for our broad gatepost - we looked for a small package mailbox for a long time and this one is exactly what we were looking for. Very pleased with it and happy to recommend it.
