Used to be better, but quality has dropped

I loved these when I first started using them a couple of years ago, and I still have a couple of old pairs that I keep to use under bathing suits. There's a noticeable difference between how they were then and how they are now (2012): These days they've become thinner, the edges are less neat, and the coloring is sometimes inconsistent within a pair. I had to return my latest pair because it arrived with some sort of dirty, gluey substance smeared on one of the covers. I'm normally pleased with Pure Style products, so I'm disappointed that they're not keeping up the quality they once offered. A better alternative is the Bristols 6 Nippies Skin. They do not wrinkle like the Smooth'ems, have a neater edge, and are slightly stiffer, so they don't show through as much. They are also a bit larger. The Nippies do have the issue of being slightly grippy whereas the Smooth'ems are more silky, but I think the trade-off is worth it. Nippies also come in a wider range of colors and come with a nice box, so I've switched over completely.

Awesome product!! Works really well for a really long time.

I absolutely love these. They are thin enough to cover. I have been using a previously ordered pair for several more times than the recommended 20 uses. I am so impressed with these I am adding to my original review. I use these to make it so it is not obvious I am not wearing a bra. I am not trying to be sexual but I have large nipples and it can be very obvious. This particular brand ONLY from Pure Style Girlfriends is the best brand I have found. To give an example of how well they work. I was using them on a day that I was working at a food booth at a fair. I was up at 5am. I started working at 7am and finally went home at about 11:15pm. They were still stuck and doing their job when I got home at 11:30pm. So they were in use and working well for about 18.5 hours. Previous to this use I had already used them at least 10 other times. These are well worth the money.

Perfect!

I love these things! They are very thin and conformable and stay on extremely well. I have worn mine probably ten times and they stay on just as well now as the first day. I have a pair from another company which are much thicker and show slightly in a tee shirt. These are completely natural looking. One caveat however, in a light colored tee shirt you may still see a slight tell/tell sign in chiilly weather. I wear mine with a soft bra and they work extremely well but don't cover perfectly every time. That's what makes them so natural looking. UPDATE: I have been wearing this same pair for 9 months now and they still stick very well but are just getting a little worn so I am ordering a new pair. Still love this brand. They won't stick this long without a bra - I wear mine with a very thin nylon/spandex bra and it works great. No need for those old foam, formed cup bras. Now that's progress!

The good news is

I'd give these 5 stars but I've only worn them once so far, and I'm going to have to get used to them. The good news is... THEY WORK! I have a relatively thin white T that I haven't been able to wear since I ordered it for modesty's sake. I wore it Thursday. Yea! Now I have to try them under that thin silky-knit tank that's still hanging in my closet. (I wear them with a bra.)

Nips totally visible under tops

I bought these to go under a white, lined, jersey top and a red, lined (but not padded) swimsuit top. I have a large bust that tends to get nipply often, so I wanted these pasties to help hide my bits. The intention of getting NUDE, SILICONE pasties is for your nipples to be invisible under tops! On BOTH tops I tried them on without a bra over top (that was the goal), and you could clearly see not only my nipples but also the outline of the pasties. It just looks like I have HUGE areolas! I was really disappointed... will have to try another brand. The only reason this item gets two stars is that they are comfortable and stay on without issue. I feel like they could be reused many times. However, I don't think I'll end up using these at all.

If you're planning on wearing these with a bra, you're set, but

If you're going to wear them alone like I am, you're better off buying better pasties. I've been going mostly braless for a while. Once I did my research I was pretty convinced it's just not a good idea to where a bra ALL the time. Maybe my breasts are shaped a little unorthodox which make these a little more prone to coming off, but my downstairs air conditioner broke and now we're here trying to survive Florida's summer. Once I start sweating it comes off on the bottom. One has completely fell off once, but other than that it's just difficult to keep the edges down in general.

Does the job

Very comfortable and concealing, can wear all day for modesty under a lightweight bra, and you can't even feel 'em. Wash with gentle soap at the end of the day, and a single pair will last for months. A great invention! EDIT: Btw, I've never found any brand that works well for more than a few wears without a lightweight, unlined bra (like the ones made by Barely There, the Breathe Bralette or the Microfiber Crop Top work well, if you don't need support and are just looking for coverage). No matter what brand, they tend to show more and fall off quicker if worn alone under a shirt. But with a comfortable lightweight bra, they're perfect, and last a very long time, like, six months of daily wear. And no worries about unintended "exposure."

Great coverage

Been using occasionally for several months. I had breast reconstruction after mastectomy and the nipples have no muscles so they are always "perky", the covers work great when I want to wear a tank top or t-shirt. They stay in place until removed and are easy to maintain, just wash and put away. They are still in great condition.
