Great quality Thai Belly Pad

Great Muay Thai belly pad but it did run rather large. It does say on the unit that it is a large size but I don’t believe that was specified on the post. I am a size 33 waist and I have it on almost the last set of holes so there is an annoying amount left over hanging off. The build is top quality and Windy is a great brand. Padding and form is excellent and it can absorb punches and knees very well.

High quality Belly pad from Thailand.

Windy makes some really great products and this is no different. I really like this belly pad and is a gym favorite. Fits great and takes a good amount of impact. The gear made in Thailand truly is a step above everything else in terms of quality. It's one of those items that will just last forever. One odd thing I found is that the strap is super long. Like you could be 400 pounds and use this thing. I am an average build at 175 pounds 5' 10" and this fits with tons of room to expand. In fact this might never get tight enough for someone with a small build. Quick thoughts on buckle vs Velcro. Some belly protectors use Velcro while others use a buckle like this one. Personally I prefer the buckle on the belly pads. I put it on backwards and spin it around. Easy on, easy off, and the buckle will last longer than the Velcro. I do however find it much easier to use Velcro on the Thai pads. Belly pad = Buckle Thai Pad = Velcro Just my opinion.

Not what I expected

Wish this product had stated a size or a bit more information on fit. I’m 5’2” petite female and it is too large for me. Ive tried using it and padding isn’t as great. I’ve tried a few other body pads which had more protection on impact but this one doesn’t seem to have great impact protection. I was a bit disappointed.
