Great quality, definitely XXL hands required.

I was in search of new gloves with better hand protection. 14 hours/week training, Super Cruiserweight. I have average-large hands, about 9.25 around the palm with proportional finger length. Tried 16 and 18 oz Twins, definitely too short in the fingers, as my middle finger was pushing a bulge in the leather. Tried Fairtex, BGV1, a bit short in the finger length, but padding was not as protective as I need for heavy bag. Tried Fairtex BGV9, 18 oz, padding was a bit better, but fingers still a hair short, and dont like long cuffs on gloves. So then I tried the Windy Heavy Hitter. Quality was as good as Twins and Fairtex, but with differences in how they are constructed/materials, fit. Padding was more like Twins, but slightly more squared off like the Fairtex, important for feel. However, I would have had to double hand wrap, and I still might have had room side to side. So I returned them. They were good enough that I ended up ordering 3 pair of Windy regular 18 oz gloves and they are now my favorites. Good protection, easy to hit the bag square, and just enough from for L-XL hands (based on my glove size). Old school manufacturer, but definitely recommend Windy if you want a compromise between Twins and Fairtex, leaning toward the Twins side a bit.

well built & fit large hands

Very well constructed. Leather and stitching good quality. Velcro at wrist snug and firm, excellent support. I bought the twenty oz. and they fit me well. my hand circumference is 10 1/2". Padding is thick but firm. These are great gloves.

Best gloves I have ever used hands down
