Does not fit a 3" connection to fan

I loved the look of this fixture and it had four lights, just what I wanted. However, from the description it was difficult to tell if this would fit our ceiling fan. It did not so I have returned it (great service on the return) and with a bit more research, ordered #P2643-20WB (was delivered very quickly thank you!). The electrician hasn't installed it yet but it looks like it is a better companion for our fan. It is 3" and has the wires coming out of the middle. I do see in the instuctions that it only accepts 4-40w incandescent light bulbs or 4-10w LED. I thought I read in the description it could take up to four 60w bulbs so we'll see when it is installed if it lights up the room enough.

Lightkit that fits into a fan base that accepts a 3.75 inch diameter kit.

Light kit is 3.75 inches in (outer) diameter. It is designed to fit up into the housing base of the fan and to be held in place with screws. It was very well packaged and arrived intact. I suspect the globes contain lead because of the statements in the instructions that it contains substance known to the state of California to cause cancer, and that after installing you should wash hands thoroughly. It is not uncommon for light globes to contain lead, which I wish were not the case. Overall this is a very good value.

Does not fit a Hunter fan.

The fan pull chain and the light pull chain are in the light kit. With this light kit there is no way to turn on the fan or the light. Hunter used to make it own light kits so you would buy one that fits your fan from them. And guess what they are manufactured discontinued. Easier to just change out the entire fan than try to find a suitable light kit.

The quality of the fixture

It fit my paddle fan but had to change the connectors tothe blue wire and white wire to fit my paddle fan and when I installed it It was a perfect fit and the light is much brighter in the room now.

Perfect fits with Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan

Perfect fits with my harbor breeze ceiling fan. base cap diameter is 3-7/8 inch (10cm). Included LED lumps are 60w equivalent (x4) MaxLight brand which works with my wall dimmer. 10 min of installation time. I am very happy with it.
