Great slow cooker
While I do appreciate a good pressure cooker, I needed to replace my old slow cooker. This came in just in time. The dividers are great as well as I can make two different dishes at the same time and not mess any further dishes. This is a great buy!

Works Well
This brand seems to be really up-and-coming in the affordable kitchen appliance space. I have an air fryer from them that works great, and this crock pot gives great results as well. The drawback comes from the affordability, and that is aesthetic and feel. The inner pot is a great, heavy ceramic type thing that you'd expect even from higher-end crock pots, but the outer shell and mechanisms look and feel flimsy. That said, it functions perfectly! I haven't had any problems. If you're looking for an affordable slow-cooker, this is a great choice

Perfect Way To Cook With Little Effort
So I have seen the double sided slow cookers for a long time now and wondered if they were really as good as they are said to be. After getting this and opening it up I was surprised that it is drop ins that fit inside the crock pot so that way if you want to separate you can or you can just make one big dish in the main as well. This was such a plus to me because I was thinking you might have to buy 2 different ones if you wanted it separated and not. The main part holds the slow cooker bags well however if your doing each side you have to use 2 different bags and well of course they are big and baggy but I made it work just the same. My first cook in it was mashed potato's and Salisbury steak and it turned out so good and so moist and tender I couldn't ask for better. It was easy to set up and turn on it heated up pretty fast. It took exact desired time of 4 hours as the recipe called for so the heating it is perfect. The trays come out and wipe down easily but then again its all I had to do since I used the bags inside, if you have never used them I recommend because it keeps your slow cooker nicer longer and easier to clean up. The lid holds in the heat well even though it doesn't have any clips to hold it in place its not even needed. After the warm feature keeps it nice for awhile with the lid on it. Me and my husband love our new edition to our kitchen and I plan to use this for many more meals. I recommend this for anyone who just doesn't always have alot of time to cook as well as great for gifting too. It is a bit heavy so if you have wrist issues ask for help. Its honestly just the main pot part that comes out thats so heavy.

Quality
When you see "Proctor Silex" on a small appliance, you expect quality. This slow cooker is no exception. It works exactly as it should, while looking very nice on your counter. The additional non-stick inserts are just brilliant, and are the main thing that drew me to this particular slow cooker. It's so nice to be able to cook two different things at the same time. That being said, are a few things that would make it a five star product instead of four. First off, there is no LED light to show the status. In other words, you can't tell if it's on and working at a glance. The addition of a simple light would be an improvement (bonus points if the light would glow different colors for "off," "warm," "low," and "high"). My second complaint is that it doesn't have a timer. We have another much cheaper, off-brand slow cooker that has a digital timer - with each press of the button, it adds 30 minutes to the cook time, and automatically switches to "warm" when the time is up. The lack of a timer is, in my mind, is a major oversight on the part of Proctor Silex. For a slow cooker as basic as this is, the $75 price tag is not justified. Other than these issues, it works as it should for those prep-and-walk-away meals, but it would be a much better value if priced under $30.

Solid slow cooker
This was our first slow cooker and we have been in love with it! It's very easy to use and heats up very well. Having the additional option of separating dishes as well will be revolutionary for some of our dishes. Something to note is that it does not have an on/off indicator light around the dial but it starts heating up immediately. I also did a quick Amazon search and found some slow cookers for cheaper that look more aesthetically pleasing, but if you want some quality inserts, great cooking, and a fabulous product overall, it makes it worth the price.

Very versatile!
I often will have parties and get togthers at my house and need items to keep food warm. I do have an old crock pot and still use it frequently. But there is often more to keep warm than just one pot. This is perfect! I really like the inserts that can make it a double crock pot. Obviously, each smaller section doesn't hold as much as the single 6-qt, but for serving things, like baked beans or nacho sauce, these smaller sections are plenty for my needs. And if I need it bigger, I can just use it like a regular crock pot! I recently used it (the big size) to slow cook copycat Chipotle Barbacoa. It was perfect! I like that it has a "keep warm" setting in addition to a high and low. My old one actually switches automatically from high to low after 6 hours, but I don't always want that, so the manual setting is fine. It also looks more modern with the stainless looking outside. I think this would be great for making two items at a time for a smaller family as I don't always need a big one (and don't have a small one.) I need to get better at planning and then I can have two nights' dinner done in one day!

So handy to cook two things at once
This is exactly what I needed! I guess I never knew I was missing this until I saw it and I knew then what a great idea it was. I don’t always like to just have a one pot dish so it is nice to have a slow cooker with a divider to cook more than one food simultaneously. This brand has been around forever and it does not disappoint. Product works great.

Rock Solid and Simple operation
You can probably get a more advanced slow cooker with bells and whistles. I was looking for something simple like this. The split pot feature is pretty great especially for a small family like ours. We don't usually make massive amounts of food at all once. So doing two smaller dishes at the same time is perfect. Proctor Silex is a long time proven brand and nothing is shorted here. You know exactly what you are getting.
