Sturdy structure

I like the rugged material and that it stands straight up for filling...also having it's fabric handles, including the bottom to make dumping easier...it's gotten quite pricier since I had ordered the same a few years ago...but...everything seems to go up as the years go on...the only downside is the bottom will wear out after a while with repeated use of dragging it across the lawn or driveway to load into my car to haul away....however... I've discovered a "garden glide transporter product" available online that this bag fits into perfectly...it looks like a kid's flying saucer for snow, attached to a rope and handle....it's not a toy, but, actually a cleverly designed tool which saves the bottoms of these filled up yard bags, and eases the dragging away without them tipping over....well worth the extra investment...

I have used these bags for years and just ordered ...

I am updating this review because I contacted Bosmere about this problem. They emailed me back promptly and said if I placed an order with them directly they would check the bags before sending. I just received them and they are perfect. Wonderful customer service. I have used these bags for years and just ordered 2 replacements for my worn out ones. Unfortunately it appears that there is no quality control in the manufacture since the channel for the reinforced top was stitched too narrow to take the reinforcement strip on both bags. Without the strip they will not stay open. I am returning them to Amazon.

Ain't what they used to be!

I have a gardening business and have used Bosmere bags for years. The quality has gone down tremendously with shoddy craftsma ship, sloppy stitching and general wear. They are not holding up like the older ones and my workers loved the size and the ease in carrying them around. What good is a triple layer base when the handles pull away from the bag. Don't know what to try now. Suggestions????

Beware! Bag excellent but side handles are useless

I have used a Bosmere tip bag for over ten years, but from dragging it around the bottom finally wore out. It was the best! Recently I purchased the Pro Tip Bag with Triple Layer Base, thinking this would be even better than my first. Unfortunately the bags are now manufactured in China instead of England. The side handles which are used to tip the bag were sewn from end to end, to the bag itself, so that it is impossible to use them as handles. I have returned the bag to Amazon and notified the Bosmere office in the United States of the issue. I have since noticed that Amazon still sells the bag but now directly from Bosmere rather than an intermediary. I am sure that the bag will be excellent once the handle issue is addressed, and I will purchase another one once I am certain there are functioning handles.

Great bag.

Really good size, big but not too big to drag around. Best part is it stays open, don't have to fight with it. Think I will order another one.

Does just want you need but not cheap.

Purchased after recommendation from a relative. We now have two of the larger ones. Have given it 4 stars as a little expensive. We noticed the price does seem to vary by £3 ish so you can wait for a dip if you want to save a little. It’s a very useful bag that does exactly what you want. It stands up really well due to the material and the more rigid plastic band that slots around the top to keep it open. It takes a lot of garden waste and is easy to empty due to there being two handles at the top, two at the bottom and one underneath. It just about fits in a wheel barrow to move it once full. Underneath the bag is thicker so this helps protect it when dragging it. It’s so nice to find something that does exactly what it’s designed for well. I recommend it for anyone who needs to get rid of garden waste on a regular basis. Update AUG 2019 Stitching of bottom seam on bag started to come undone, resulting in a hole and looked like it would just get bigger. Bag hasn’t hard a hard life and only used it about 10 times for dump trips with soft garden waste in the car. Got in touch with Bosmere who directed me to Amazon for first year replacement, which they did without quibble. Lets wait and see how hard wearing these are. They need to be.

Looks strong but let down by the top seam

This arrived less than a week ago. When I went to use it today, for only the third time, I noticed the top seam has parted company and is unravelling. I’d just been thinking about ordering another couple of these but I’m not sure I will bother now. I intend to contact the maker or supplier to see if they will replace this. I’ve bought cheaper versions before and they lasted longer so not sure I’d splash out again.

Well made a must for a gardener

A must for any serious gardener I have used these for years you can put so much garden waste in these bags and I drag them because they are so heavy they last me along time because they are made so well ,I think they would last for ever if I did not drag them but the nature of my job and limited space to transport rubbish but would highly recommend these bags
